What do you do?
Let the moment pass
For a few seconds, neither of you moves away.
The overlook around you feels calm and private while the sky slowly turns deeper shades of orange and pink above the water.
Then finally, Jane smiles softly before stealing one last slower kiss.
“Okay,” she murmurs afterward while still close enough for your noses to brush slightly. “Now I’m emotionally attached to this overlook too.”
“You get emotionally attached to everything.”
“That’s because everything keeps being cute today,” she says.
Honestly?
She’s probably right again.
Eventually the two of you make your way slowly back toward the main boardwalk together, her hand slipping comfortably back into yours while the last warmth of sunset lingers around both of you.
And somehow the air between you feels even softer now than before.

The slower intimacy leaves Jane feeling emotionally close to you without rushing the moment. The quiet affection lingers between you for the rest of the evening.
