What does the Elf have to say about the sword?
Let's ask her and find out
You tell the others that you'll catch up to them, you just need to talk to the teacher. There is a certain reluctance in letting you stay behind, the various 'do me' eyes telling your the reason for the reluctance. However, they do depart leaving you behind.
"Lord Christopher, do you need something?" The elf asked from your desk. There is no face this time, just a thin line, opening into a shallow wooden surface, she wasn't putting effort into it, maybe she was tired for some reason. The line closed and vanished when she was finished talking. You hear shuffling and look over to see the girl who'd always been held back giving you a foul look as she hurries out of the room. What did you do to her?
"Yes actually," There is a chance that Stephanie has already spoken to the elf about this. You could obfuscate what you want or why but that chance shouldn't be ignored, "I have a duel planned with Lady Stephanie in a few weeks using imbument only, and if I want to have a chance of winning she advised me to find the Sky Metal sword the academy has. She also told me to ask you about it."
"And what has you so determined to win that you would ask about possibly the most valuable in the Capital?" The mouth reformed but remained this time.
"I," now you hesitate. You didn't know the sword was that valuable, though considering Stephanie's offer of her Sky Metal dagger to Mary personal guard to fight you, probably should have figured that out. "It's personal."
"Understandable," the mouth formed more definition, lips of curled wood and the beginning of a tongue was spied between them, "resting your relationships upon a duel is rather personal, even for the chance to have her join in on all your fucking, it's quite a bet. Not that I wouldn't have made the same bet if it had been offered to me." A face emerged from the table around the mouth. A head that looked identical to Stephanie's looked back at you.
So Stephanie had told her about about the sword. "Well, yeah. At the time it seemed like a good idea." Much less so right now but threeish weeks to teach Gabrielle should be easy, also Stephanie must told her about this a while ago, expecting you to come a lot sooner. "Also having the sword would be helpful. My imbuing has been getting better but even with better metals I'm not sure it will improve until I get a sword that simply won't be destroyed by my attempts."
The head changed into a smaller child and shoulders. Hands broke free of the wood and put on the desk to make it look like the elf was climbing out of the wood. When she was full emerged she looked like a small child and sat, danging her feet over the edge. "That is true, your decimation of academy's sword supply has been near total." She giggled. "So, what do you want to know about the sword?"
"Where it is?" You asked as she puts her feet on your thighs and leans until her face is very close to yours.
"Is that all?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Well if you can just give it to me that would be helpful." You joke, given the value it must be kept either in some sort of vault.
"I could." She leaned back and looked at her desk, from the middle of it a sword stabbed upwards hilt first until it was halfway emerged.
"Wait, it's yours?" Stephanie could have mentioned that.
"Yes. It was a gift from Queen Taia, Princess Anastasia's great-great-grandmother. Long story of what I did to earn it but well, Taia had never been the most observant of woman, never occurred to her an elf doesn't really need a sword." The sword sunk back into her desk and she hopped off yours and looked up at you, she was a little taller than your hip and stuck her tongue out at you. "Though she did love being sheathed." She laughed and playfully slapped your stomach, when she didn't laugh she explained, "Because she liked getting fucked. Don't think she managed a day without someone inside her. Honestly it was kinda embarrassing having to spy on her." She walked over to her desk and jumped up on it the sword raising up so she could grab the hilt.
The blade was a dark gray flecked with small black dots. "Spy?" That is largely all you got from that.
"Oh yes, I was planted her as a 'gift of friendship' from my people to yours a few centuries ago. Naturally they thought I was just a tree and not an elf so they never questioned my planting." She was being remarkably open about that fact, must be a well know bit of trivia. "The sword," She pulled it free and it was taller she was, "is one of a number of gifts I've been given."
"So you were a spy, who was given gift by the people you spied on." Trivia or no, this was piquing your curiosity.
"I was a silent tree for a century or so, watching as the kingdom grew and developed. When it became clear it wasn't a threat to my people I introduced myself. Before you ask, no the ruling queen wasn't thrilled but I informed her that I'd grown throughout most of the city, 'the walls have ears', I believe I said. In the interest of fostering relations between our peoples I would proved the royal family with information in exchange for my remaining here and the occasional gift." Her arm looked like it got tired of holding the sword and let it fall back into the desk. She looked at you then at the ground. Given her diminutive stature it was almost half her height to the floor. "Help please." She lifted her arms expectant of being picked up.
You walked over and did just that. lifting her under the armpits and putting her on the ground, impressed by both the lightness of her form and the smoothness of her skin or bark, it was a lot closer to the desk than yourself but defaulting to skin while looking at that cute as a button face felt natural. She smiled up at you as you hands pulled. It was only as you looked down at her, reminding yourself bark not skin did you wonder why she'd needed your help for that. "So you spy for the royal family and have grown into most of the Capital."
"Precisely." She said with a nod. "Now I'm sure you're wondering why I'm telling you this."
"Not really, I actually like hearing about your history, it's pretty fascinating." Your answer seemed to take her by surprise.
"It's easy to forget you're a lot older than you look with how you act sometimes." She mused. "Though I'm not one to judge when it comes to libido, I imagine if I was experiencing puberty the class would be far less able to focus on my teachings, well my aural teachings."
"Huh?" It took a second to put together what she meant. "Ooooooohhhhh," the wall have ears, all of the capital which included the academy, "you know about me, and -"
"Yes, all of you. I've been waiting to see if you would approach me before I couldn't resist not being involved anymore." The elf said smirking up at you. With her childish face it looked more adorable than sneaky. "Don't worry I haven't told Aurora, though she's more than aware there is something more to you, Clare and Delilah, she hasn't figured it out yet and hasn't asked for my assistance."
"Why not?" If she's promised to help the royal family why not ask her, "Because you charge for your services and she doesn't want to pay you unless she has too. I haven't been enough of an issue that she has to know what you know about be."
"Smart when you actually put some effort into it aren't you." She patted your hip supportively, which felt a little patronizing. "So what do you think I will ask you in exchange for the sword?"
"It's not like I have much." You say.
The Elf's eyes trail from your head down your crotch which is just below her head. "I can think of a few things."
And now you are immensely uncomfortable. "I'm sure but maybe you can be clearer." You push her away from you making her give you an amused look.
She laugh and stepped closer to you. "You put your cock into my -"
"Nope." You interrupt, "Not looking anything like that."
"Huh?" She looked down. "Oh right, I know you like more impressive appearance." Her chest grew to the an almost C-cup which on her petite frame was massive, her arms and legs thickened with very defined muscles and her hips and butt filled out. "Better."
"I, you still look like a kid." You said nodding at her face which morphed into her more mature appearance without growing any taller. The fact that she had been naked this whole time only clicked in your mind when her body turned into the perfectly formed short-stack before you. "So, um, what were you thinking in terms of payment." You are honestly feeling so confused by this little display you honestly don't know if you can perform adequately.
"Simple, you tell me my name, and you owe me a favour." She put a hand on your thigh. "And maybe you and I get a bit closer. I'm curious to see if the reason all those people love your cum so much is becasue of your Goddess given power."
"What?" The first one seemed, confusingly easy, you'd never heard the elf's name that you could remember, but all you should need to do is ask one of the academy's staff, or Aurora herself in a pinch. The second seemed, very open to misuse.
"Tell me my name, owe me a favour, and provide me with some 'fertilizer'." She laughed and looked up at you.
"And you'll give me the sword."
"I'll loan you the sword whenever you need it. If you want to keep it I have something else I want but it's not something you can provide, yet."
"Why do I get the feeling dealing with you is a lot harder than dealing with Aurora." You are starting to think you should have spent more time working on developing your political talents instead of reading all those books as a kid.
"Because you can be rather smart sometimes, and you really should learn how to politic if you plan on marrying two of her daughters, to say nothing of the third that will demand to be included." She walked over to her desk and reached into it pulling out the sword. "So, do we have a deal? I guarantee that with this, you will beat Stephanie and add her to your Hanun."
You feel like a comment about magical women handing out sword should be made, but it has probably already been made before. "What's the something I can't provide."
The elfs eyes dart to your chest for a moment. "Don't worry about it. Deal or no deal?"
Taking her up on this seems wildly unpredictable. You don't get the impression the favour is going to be of the sexual kind. There isn't any magic binding to you to the favour unless she has a slave contract, and if she does there will be a much more nuclear problem to deal with. You could refuse when she asks for it if it goes too far. Though you aren't sure refusal would be a good idea. Loaning the sword or not she knows a lot about you you would rather keep quiet, at least for now. Your fight with Delilah might encourage other potential champions to seek you out, word that you have a lot more information about yourself and the other potentials, who brought you here, why they did so, and one of them being here, would absolutely demand their attention.
