Leave

You look back at her. The **** look on her face just makes you feel more guilty for your decision.

"I'm sorry, Xyl, but I think I'd prefer to leave."

Her face falls, head dropping to look at the ground. "O-OK," she chokes out. "You... You should go, before... before I can no longer let you."

She quickly ushers you away, before turning around and running up a tree.

Despite feeling guilty, you start walking. You need to put some distance between you and her before she loses herself to her instincts.

After an hour or so of walking, it is almost pitch black. You can see only by scattered light from the moon passing through the branches above you. It is barely enough to prevent you from tripping over something.

Finally, you crest a ridge and see a town in the valley below. The forest is cleared the whole way down the hill, replaced with fields of both livestock and crops.

As you move down towards the road you can see, you realise that the town has a drawbridge which is tightly shut. You won't be getting in there tonight.

It seems you will need to find somewhere to sleep for the night.
