You go to
Le Colonial
On your way out you see that there are now a half dozen different construction vans out front of the neighboring townhome and you can hear lots of heavy machinery inside. Whoever was finishing up the project was moving fast.
You arrived at the upscale Vietnamese place at the same time as James. The hostess seats you immediately and James orders a bottle of red wine for the table. Wine was always one of his special interests and he even fermented batches of wine in what started as a nerdy experiment but had grown into a real side gig.
Alex : "that murder mystery game was fun last night, what's it called again?"
James lit up at the opportunity to talk about his other special interest.
James : "it's called 'blood in the manor' it's from an independent developer and getting really popular among the hobbiest community. People make up custom roles and elaborate scripts. It was great to finally get to play it"
The group appreciated James for keeping up with the state of the art in boardgames. Without him you'd probably just play Catan every week and miss out on these new and interesting games.
