Lauren wakes up

With a startled gasp, Lauren jolted awake in her bed. She struggled to catch her breath, disoriented. Her chest heaved and her body was soaked with sweat.

Finally, after a long moment she realized she safe and sound in her bed. It had just been a dream. But what a horrible, embarrassing dream it was! Naked, flaws exposed, everyone mocking her. And then her mother showing up and spanking her! It was so humiliating, her cheeks still burned at the thought of it. And it felt so real, her ass still burned from phantom impact. Sure, Lauren had experienced naked in public dreams before, but nothing this vivid, nor this humiliating!

Lauren was unable to fall back asleep. So the next day she felt off. Memories of the dream kept flashing back, the laughing faces, the feeling of air on her bare skin. She found herself nervous and uncertain in a way she'd never been before. As a result she hardly paid any attention at school, and then kept making mistakes at work.

"Lauren, that's table seven's order, not five!" Her boss chided her. "Honestly, you never make mistakes like this."

"Sorry." Lauren mumbled, feeling strangely bashful.

Normally she'd push back on such criticism, but she didn't have it in her at the moment. Her usual swagger was gone.

By the time she got home, she was exhausted from her unusually difficult day. Despite her memory of the bad dream, she drifted to sleep as soon as she laid down... unwittingly entering the dream world where Dennis was master once more...
