Lauren plays the game

Lauren sat at the table, arms crossed defiantly. The others exchanged a look. This was Lauren Adkins, one of the hottest girls in the town, and she was playing Dungeons and Dragons with them!

"Here's your character sheet." Evan handed her a page of paper with little notes and numbers scrawled over it. "You're Maeve the Rogue."

Even than helpfully began a long, complex explanation of the mechanics of her character. Lauren instantly grew annoyed, and waved her hand dismissively, silencing him.

"I can figure it out." She snapped.

"Oh. Okay." Evan then pointed at a miniature of a small woman in a cloak with a dagger. "This is you, by the way."

Dennis then began laying out the scene, explaining them the dark and mysterious dungeon they found themselves in. All the boys seemed instantly enthralled. Lauren rolled her eyes. Nerds.

"You find yourself at a large ornate door at the end of the hall." Dennis explained.

"I open the door." Lauren said, trying to cut through all the preamble.

To her surprise, the other players all shook their heads.

"Big mistake Lauren." Evan commented, noting her surprise.
