Late Night Movie On The Couch (CW)

It didn't take Kenny and Kailyn any time at all to prepare a bowl of garden salad and a few strips of grilled chicken and it took the four just as little time to finish the meal as well. What followed was another thirty minutes of bringing up old memories, some more wholesome and sweet, but more than enough teasing and embarrassing. Sydney preferred the latter, especially when it came to any involving JJ.

"So I come out of my shower, wrap a towel around myself, step out into the hall and that's when I look up and who is there?" Sydney grinned while JJ slumped in his seat, shielding his face with his hands, "That's right, young fifteen year old, mister Jackson. The little punk had let himself inside looking for Kenny and almost caught a full sight!"

"Hey, I didn't know that you were showering! I was looking for Kenny!" JJ swiftly pointed out,

Kenny leaned forward with a raised brow, "Why did I never hear about this story?"

"Because JJ didn't want to tell you about the part where he stood there staring at me for far too long for it to be a little accident." Sydney giggled and JJ groaned, cupping a hand over his eyes once more.

Kaliyn gasped, "James!" She instantly chastised.

"I was fifteen, I wasn't exactly in control of myself..."

"It's okay JJ, we understand," Sydney reached over, teasing giving his cheek a pinch. JJ pulled his head away, giving Sydney a side eye as she giggled, "You boys can't contain yourself sometimes. Take Kenny for instance. We all but had to stop bringing him to the indoor pool when he was fifteen."

"Ken, you used to drool so much I'm surprised you never slipped." Kenny was shooting daggers at his older sister, trying to will her to shut her mouth.

"Yeah..." Kailyn agreed with a sheepish smile, "Whenever you were there with Rachel and I? We could tell where your eyes were going." JJ couldn't hold it in any longer and let out a laugh while Kenny sank down, "Oh Kenny, it's no big deal. Every guy looks. It's...it was flattering that you thought we were worth it."

"Oh my god, I so didn't need this." Kenny murmured under his breath. Scooting his chair back, the teen stood up, "I'm gonna clean up! I think we're done with dinner!"

"I second that," JJ got from his seat as well, "This conversation can happily die here.

"Want help, Ken?" Kailyn sweetly offered,

"Nah, I got it, you did enough earlier. I can take care of this."

Sydney easily slid out of her seat, "In that case...I skipped my shower this morning, so I'm dying to take one."

"Sure...you can take one...after me," JJ and Sydney locked eyes and without another word the two took of running, sprinting out of the kitchen, rounding the corner and heading up the hallway to the bathroom.

"They really are like a pair of damn kids, I swear." Kailyn gently shook her head. The college girl then turned back to Kenny as he took away her plate, putting it on the stack in his hand, "Hey...why don't we save that until the morning? Want to watch a movie with me?"

Kenny thought for a moment then nodded, "Sure, why not. It's not like were going out tomorrow anyway." With that Kailyn got from her seat and headed into the den while Kenny finished clearing the table and putting the dishes in the sink.

Kenny made his way into the den and found Kailyn already curled up on one end of the couch with a throw blanket laid over her legs. She gave the teen a small and patted the cushion next to him, "If you don't mind, they finally added this movie I've been dying to see. It's supposed to be a little...on the romantic side? So I do get if you'd prefer we switch it to something else."

Kenny set himself down on the couch and kicked his feet up on the ottoman "It's okay Kai, you sound really excited. How about we watch this one and I get to pick the next one if we're still up by then,"

"Deal!" Kailyn hit play on the movie and then reached down, grabbing the end of the blanket and tossing it over Kenny's legs, "Here, it's cold."

"Thanks," Kenny adjusted himself, moving closer to Kailyn, and letting more of the blanket properly cover his lower half. "Do you have that thing on the phone like JJ does to work the cabin?"

"Hmm? Oh yeah!" Kailyn grabbed her phone, unlocked it, and tossed it over to Kenny, "Knock yourself out." Kenny smirked as he made a few quick adjustments with the volume followed by increasing the fire to help warm up the room, "Cool right?"

"So cool." Kenny chuckled back as he settled back, ready to relax.

As the movie played, Kailyn and Kenny got more and more comfortable both on the couch and with each other. When Kailyn got up to make herself that promised sundae, Kenny noticed that she made it a point to sit a bit closer to him. When Kenny in turn, did the same after getting something to drink, Kailyn didn't flinch. By the time they were midway through the move, Kenny just about had his arm around the girl, and there was something about it that Kenny just couldn't help but enjoy.

He wasn't sure if what he was doing was flirting, he couldn't exactly tell what feelings he was having for Kailyn in general after today, but Kenny was making sure to watch himself. The last thing he wanted to do was end up offending her or making her feel uncomfortable. This concern, however, was all but buried when Kailyn took one final step on her own, snuggling into him and resting her head on his shoulder, "Sorry, hope you don't mind. I'm still a little chilly."

"Thank you." Kailyn sweetly replied, not missing a beat, curling into him all the more with his arm now pulling her in. Kenny's heart was already thumping hard enough, but he was doing his best to keep his cool. The movie, however, seemed to have other plans, "O-Oh," Kenny raised a brow at Kailyn's response only to look back up at the television and suddenly find the two main characters midway through a quite provocative, and detailed sex scene.
