Kiss or cure?

Willow shrugged and said, "I guess that's it. That's all the people I can think of who can possibly be your true love. Unless --"

"Unless what?" asked Buffy.

"Just suppose, Buffy, that your true love is a person that you already know," said Willow. "A person whom you see every day. A person whom you don't think of as a true love even though it's obvious that she loves you very much."

"She?" asked Buffy. "You mean my mom? But we already eliminated her."

"No, Buffy," said Willow. "Not your mom."

"Then you must mean Faith," said Buffy. "I'm sorry but I just don't see that being possible."

"No, I don't mean Faith," said Willow.

"Surely you don't mean Cordelia?" asked Buffy.

"Of course I don't," said Willow. "Nor Harmony."

"Do you mean Amy?" asked Buffy. "Because for a while there, it seemed like we had a connection but apparently not. And anyway she's more your friend than min --"

"No, I don't mean Amy!" cried Willow.

"Then who else could it be?" asked Buffy.

"Seriously, Buffy?" asked Willow. "Okay, on second thought, let's forget all that. Let's just kiss each other for the sake of an experiment. After all, we're kinda like sisters so maybe..."

Buffy just looked at Willow and asked, "You know, Willow?"

"Yes, Buffy," said Willow, feeling kind of nervous as she watched the enigmatic expression on Buffy's face.

"That must be the weirdest thing you ever said to me," said Buffy. "I mean, I like you as a friend and all and you'll always be my bestie but the idea of us kissing each other, that's just -- well, like I said. It's weird. I'd sooner kiss Jonathan."

"Okay, we're done," said Willow. "You can go home now, Buffy."

"Hey!" cried Buffy. "Wait a minute! What did I say?"

"Nothing, Buffy," said Willow. "Now please go home."

"But I haven't been cured yet," said Buffy.

"And I'm all out of ideas," said Willow. "Maybe you can go talk to Amy about it."

"You're upset about something, Will," said Buffy. "I can tell. I just don't know what."

"Goodbye, Buffy," said Willow.

"But, Willow..." said Buffy.

"I said, 'Goodbye,'" said Willow.

And just like that, Buffy found herself outside Willow's house with no other choice than to walk home naked again.

Oh, well, thought Buffy. Willow was obviously mad about something. But about what, I have no idea. Perhaps I should go to Amy's house tomorrow and ask her about it.

And with that thought in mind, Buffy started off on her long nude walk home.
