Kim tries to escape

For a few moments you hear some activity coming from the direction of the kitchen; the sound of the refrigerator opening, the sound of glasses and plates clinking, and then nothing.

You suddenly notice a change in your peripheral vision and as you turn towards it to see what was happening you catch sight through your back living room window of Kim sneaking out of a small kitchen window.

“Well, I guess they did warn me she may try to run.” You mutter to yourself, “and it does make for more amusement to go catch her but I didn’t think she’d try so soon.”

Before you can even get out of your chair to go chase Kim down it seems her escape plan has fallen apart. From your chair you can see Kim hanging several feet off the ground, a strong scrap of her jeans caught on the latch of the kitchen window preventing her from falling to freedom.

You sigh and shake your head, both amused and upset by Kim’s action as you head towards the backdoor to go retrieve her.

“So, what are you doing Kimberly?” You ask playfully as you slide open the back door.

“Umm…. It’s not what it looks like Master.” Kim responds quickly, her face turning bright red.

“Really, because it looks you tried to escape through that window and got stuck but if that is not the case why don’t you tell me what is going on here.” You ask, waiting to see if she’ll admit her attempt or try to lie her way of this.

“I saw that the outside of this window was all smudged and dirty and wanted to clean it so you could see how useful I can be to you Master but I didn’t know how to get outside so I decided to simply climb out the window to clean it but I guess I fell and got stuck.”

“Kimberly….” You utter, rolling your eyes in disapproval.

“I’m sorry Master, please don’t be angry with me. I promise I won’t try to escape again. I don’t know what came over me.”

“You better not try again; you’re lucky I caught you this time. We’re at least three hours drive from the nearest neighbor and passed my little back yard here is nothing but thousands of acres of woods filled with wolves and bears and snakes. Where were you going to go?”

“I didn’t think. I’m sorry.” Kimberly whimpers as she begins to cry.

“Oh, you are going to be sorry.” You say aggressively as you walk over and pull Kim down off the side of the house, ripping a sizeable new hole in the back of her jeans, “Now get back into the house.”

“Are you going to discipline me?” Kim asks timidly as she slowly heads towards the back door.
