Kianna meets Bridgette
The classes have started up again, and Kianna is cleaning the cafeteria of all the messes that the students made
Kianna: My, what a mess they made. Can't they act like civilised people
?: I'm afraid they can't
Kianna turns around and is greeted by Bridgette

Bridgette: Hi, I haven't had a chance to introduce myself. I'm Bridgette, I'm the history teacher and the school counselor
Kianna: Hi, I'm Kianna the new lunch lady, and the cleaner of this mess
Bridgette: Sorry about that; some of these students are animals
Kianna: It's fine, at least I stay busy
Bridgette: That's true, so how are you doing
Kianna: Good so far, it was a little overwhelming, but I think I handled it
Bridgette: Did they all behave? Nobody made any inappropriate comments
Kianna: Some did. I wrote down their names; I'll give them to the headmaster at the end of the day
Bridgette: The headmaster, why?
Kianna: he told me to give him names, since he didn't want me to deal with it myself
Bridgette: I see
Kianna: he really is a wonderful man
Bridgette: Be careful with him
Kianna: why
Bridgette: Something about him is off, that's all I can say
Kianna: okay?
Bridgette: Just be careful, okay
Kianna: Alright, but I don't see any reason to doubt Aiden. He helped me by giving me this job, and that's without even mentioning what he did to Kai
Bridgette: Kai? You mean the one who's friends with Ava's son
Kianna: Yes, I'm Kai's mother
Bridgette: Oh, sorry, I didn't know
Kianna: It's alright
Bridgette: Oh, look at the time, it's almost time for to get to my next class. Just think about what I said
Kianna: I guess she's not really the kind that trusts people fast
Later at the end of the day, Bridgette is sitting behind her desk on her laptop

Bridgette: What am I missing
Someone knocks on the door
Todd: Is this detention
Bridgette: Get inside, put your phone on my desk and take a seat. I don't care what you do for the next hour, but you'll be quiet until detention is over
She says without even looking at him
Todd: Right
Todd does as she says and sits in silence for 10 minutes
Bridgette: What am I missing? His father owns the school, and yet there is almost no information about him
Bridgette finally looks away from her laptop and notices Todd
Bridgette: Todd? What are you doing here
Todd: Detention
Bridgette: I know that, but why? You've never had detention, you always follow the rules
Todd: I called Mom a bitch, without knowing she was standing behind me
Bridgette: Todd, come on, you know better than that
Todd: I know, it's just that she's been acting weird all day, well, weirder
Bridgette: What do you mean
Todd: She has become colder, but she became really cold this morning
Bridgette: What do you mean
Todd: I shouldn't talk about this
Bridgette: No, you should. I'm the school counselor, remember? You're supposed to come to me with problems
Todd: It's just that she was very mean, she was borderline bullying me this morning, only because I was a little late getting out of bed
Bridgette: This doesn't make any sense, Ava loves her children, she warm and kind. She would never do that
Bridgette: When did she start acting different
Todd: A couple of days ago, I guess
Bridgette: Around the same time as the new headmaster appeared
Todd: I guess, she must be really stressed with making sure she does her job well. Since Dad can't work, I guess she just lost it
Bridgette: And did something happen yesterday
Todd: Not really. The headmaster ate dinner with us, and stood up to me. Thanks to him, I had the pleasure of watching Lamar go around apologising to everyone he has ever bullied today
Bridgette: Why
Todd: To prove to the headmaster that he's serious about changing his ways, though he probably is just doing it so that the headmaster gives him permission to go to the playoffs
Bridgette: But you sure he left after dinner
Todd: Yeah, as far as I know
Bridgette: Something happened between Ava and that bastard, and I don't like it. I need to find out what
Bridgette: You can go home, Todd
Todd: But I have detention
Bridgette: Don't worry, you have my permission
Todd: Are you sure
Bridgette: Yeah, just go
Bridgette: Time to have a word with my good old friend Ava
