She gives a small shudder as the two of you make eye contact, then quickly goes back to her textbook. Normally, you wouldn't continue to stare at a girl after she has caught you, but with the power of universal acceptance on your side you feel invincible.

The girl is well aware of you staring. She is looking intensely at her book, trying to ignore you, but every few seconds or so you can see her emerald eyes straining upwards to check if you are still watching her. Every time she sees your gaze has not faltered, and her eyes jolt back down to her book.

This pattern continues for about a minute, until she slams her book closed in frustration.
