Chapter 9 by Gatsha Gatsha

They say it's always brightest just before dusk; however, the well-prepared man carries a lantern for all occasions. Kazuma's wit avails him as such, no matter what pinch he finds himself in, and even without the aid of a party, the brave adven-

Kazuma won't let blindness stop him!

Kazuma still couldn't see, as if he was staring straight into a lamp no matter which way he turned. Still, by this point, that didn't mean he was robbed of his senses. He could hear Aqua's obnoxious taunts in close proximity and smell the booze on her breath, in spite of the divine cleansing she'd supposedly done. More importantly, he could feel the pages of the script and their plastic binding, plus the mechanical quill he needed to write on them.

He'd probably only have one or two shots to turn the tables on Aqua before even she realized how stupid she'd been to put Kazuma's tools back in his hands. Aqua had described the functions of her Divine Protection: it would stop anyone from controlling her mind or reading her future by punishing them with blinding light. If it did much more than that, Kazuma figured the braggart Goddess would have rambled on about it more. Was it fair to guess that was the limit of it? Because if that really was the limit of it...

Kazuma tried his first test. He placed his hand on the page to make sure he wasn't about to write off an edge, and he picked a spot close to the bottom so he'd be writing in a clear bottom margin.

Aqua had been rambling on to herself for a while now, probably believing that Kazuma was working to swallow his pride. "C'mooon, Kazuma! There's no need for a wimpy human like you to try and resist the power of a Goddess. Huh? You think I'm taking sadistic pleasure in this? No way, no way! I'm just taking a moment to remind you who's the divine being and who's the pathetic mortal. My behavior is one-hundred percent pure and innocent. I am the Goddess of Water, after all, who can purify any swamp! Even your swampy heart. Now quit playing around and swear your fealty to-"

Smack! Aqua's hand slapped her ass.

Aqua was quiet for a moment, her stinging hand still hovering just off of the surface of the flawless, godly rump meat she'd just punished out of nowhere. She was still wearing a graceful, haughty expression on her face, but that was beginning to falter.

Kazuma had gone perfectly still, being certain to carefully confirm the sound. "All right. Good."

"... What's good? Huh? What did I... H-hey! Kazuma, you're still blind, right? And my Divine Protection makes it so you can't see, and you can't control my mind! So, uh... Do you mind telling me what you think you're-"

Aqua's hand slapped her ass hard.

The Goddess jumped at the result of her own ****, baring her teeth and winking back tears. "Eeek!! K-Kazuma, what the heck do you think you're doing?! You're blind! You're infirm! You're just a mortal! How are you making me do this?! Stop it! It's gonna leave a print!"

"A print sounds good to me," Kazuma replied casually, flipping to the next page in the script and returning to the bottom. "I think that's juuust about good enough for testing. Now, the important one-"

"C-c-create Water!!"

"Crap!" With quick reflexes, Kazuma turned to shield the script from his assailant. He didn't know if getting wet would stop the script from working, but there was no sense finding out now! His green cape was soaked from a splash, but that was far preferable to having to having to write on a soggy page blind. "Haha, here we go!"

Aqua would never be able to stop Kazuma from using the script again.

He felt Aqua's arms wrapping under his from behind, trying desperately to grab the script that he was hiding as her breasts squished against his back. "Heeey, this isn't fair!! Why am I not spanking myself again? That means you're writing something else, doesn't it, Kazuma?! Hey, Kazumaaa!! You big jerk, why are you even able to write?! Did you pay someone for some kinda sneaky skill just so you could cheat at this?! Some kind of... blind hermit scribe, living in a temple?!"

"Aqua, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret," Kazuma told her without looking, since he still couldn't see. "Humans... can write without looking at paper!"

"No waaay! I can't! I have to look at every character!!"

"Uh, no, you definitely can. And if you can't, well, that's definitely not normal and you should consider practicing! Geez, you're a failure of a human and a Goddess!"

"I can't believe you said that! Why should a Goddess be able to write without looking, anyway?! You're just making that writing-without-looking thing up, aren't you, Kazumaaa?! Hey, c'mon!! Why were you able to make me spank myself?! I'm gonna get you for that, by the way! I'm gonna turn every beverage you drink into tap water from now on!"

"Hmhm... Why was I able to control you?" Kazuma was looking forward to this, feeling like he'd been especially clever. He turned around to face Aqua over his shoulder, although his blind, light-filled eyes were still staring at empty space. Combined with his creepy grin, it gave him a scary expression. "Divine Protection protects you from mind control. Yeah, I can't make you choose to do anything, change the way you think, alter your personality or memories, or anything like that. Your mind is your own... But your body is mine to command! Kahahahaha!! Ooh, what's next?" Cackling like a villain, Kazuma began to write his next exciting detail...

Aqua's big, blue eyes peered over his shoulder, then went wide. "You wrote... whaaaat?! W-w-what do you mean I can't stop you?! That's not fair!! You're a demon! That's not fair Kazuma, you need to erase that! Take me on in a fair fight! You coward! You dumbass! You big meanie!"

Aqua's hands act on their own to humiliate her.

The Goddess looked at the paper and gasped. "H-hey now! That's not specific enough, Kazuma! It's not fair to write something like that! It's cheating if isn't all from your own imagination! And you have to do it manually! If you write that, you're gonna be able to humiliate me without even writing anythiiing! C'mooon! Kashumrrrr- Grrrr!!"

Before Aqua could complain any more, her hands had reached into the side of her mouth to pull her own cheeks wide, her teeth clenching to try and resist it in vain. "Dat hurtsh! Kashumaa-" Her cheeks snapped back into place as she released. As her hands began lightly slapping and jiggling her own butt to the beat of a familiar song, Aqua choked back her tears. "W-what kinda crazy, perverted stuff are you planning to do to me? Are you planning to defile a Goddess's body? Finally have your disgusting way with me, like in your dreams?! No!! Groooss!!"

"Hell no, that's disgusting! Nah, it's gonna be more stuff like this. A lot more," Kazuma told her, still staring off into blank space. "Sure is a shame I can't see, though... They say imagination is better than the real thing. It's just so much fun to imagine you squirming and suffering. I bet if I could see, I'd get bored and give up on this real quick... I might even calm down... I might even show mercy..."

"Oh! Oh, right, the Divine Protection? Is that little thing still on? Is it bothering you, Mr. Kazuma, sir? That was my fault. My bad! So silly, teehee! I'm turning off the blinding now, okay?" Aqua wanted to give her statement an appropriately godly hand-flourish but only found herself holding double L's on her own forehead. Barely hiding her annoyance, she still tried to put on her friendliest face. "There! I healed your blindness. That was nice of me, right? Geez, Kazuma, look at what your silly writing is doing to my hands! After making a Goddess play with her own butt, you've gotta be done now, right?"

Kazuma turned back to her, rubbing his eyes and allowing sight to return to them. When he opened them, however, they sparkled with the same mischief of his smirk. "Not. A. Chance. You still have a ton of karmic debt you owe the universe, and the night is still young. Plenty of time to balance the books."

Aqua continued wearing a smile for a moment as she felt her hands begin pulling out her hair ornament and messing up her do.

Suddenly, she began sniffling. She covered her eyes with her hands, which annoyingly resulted in dragging her own long, blue locks into her face. She sobbed miserably for a moment... Then peeked out of one eye to see Kazuma's reaction.

Finally, she let out a yell. She reached her hands out for Kazuma's throat... Instead, she found them wrapping around him in a hug. Chest to chest, it'd be an arousing, erotic scene for any young couple but these two, the grumbling Goddess and the childish adventurer with his shit-eating grin. "What?! Whaddyou want, Kazuma?! Are you just gonna **** me all night?! Do you want an apology from me for not sharing my food? 'Cause I earned that with my hard work!"

Surprisingly, this seemed to strike Kazuma. He looked into the pouting face of the Goddess who was sensually rubbing his back against her will, pressing her nice handfuls up against his chest. "You know... That's a good question. What do I want? It ain't an apology, after all. You're such a wimp, you apologize all the time. You crumple under any kind of ****. I thought it'd be funny to see you humiliate yourself, but I forgot you're embarrassing enough when you're just you. If I can't change your mind, I can't fix your personality. Even if I humiliate you and make you cry all night, I'll probably never get a sincere apology out of you, and I'll definitely never get you to change how you are."

Aqua huffed, turning from him and inadvertently pressing her soft, glamorous blue hair into him once again. "Saying those kinds of things about me... You got just one part right, though. A Goddess is immutable. You're finally starting to get it... is what I'd say if you released me from your stupid script. Just tell me what you want so we can get it over with. This is... getting a little weird, isn't it?"

"W-well, uh... the weirdness is random!" Kazuma reminded her, feeling her hands snake down to the seat of his pants and start feeling up his bottom through the fabric. "Gggh! Y-yeah, I'm gettin' creeped out." The young man worked to get the script in front of himself, awkwardly bending his arms over her so he could write. "C'mon, c'mon. I have a magic script that can alter someone's reality. There's gotta be some way I can use it to alter this useless Goddess, this... walking embodiment of failure!"

"I can hear you, Kazutrash. Your dumb script is making me undo your belt! Hurry up and do some... thing..." Aqua froze, looking over Kazuma's shoulder. Then, she ducked her head again, pressing it to his chest. "Oh crap. Oh crap, oh crap! You've really done it this time!"

"... Oh crap." Kazuma was frozen as well, wearing an expression of terror. His shaking hands nearly dropped the script. He was sure he felt two sets of burning eyes on his figure in the dark street, and he didn't dare to turn around to face them. Meanwhile, as Aqua finished undoing his belt buckle and forcing his pants down around his ankles, he also felt roaming, uncontrollable hands stuff themselves into his shorts. Those delicate hands, those soft fingertips of a goddess, began...

Playing with his balls!

"Not helpful!!!"

They say idle hands are the devil's playthings. Truly, to turn the hands of a Goddess over to the devil, Kazuma rolled dice on an unholy gamble. Now, with the eyes of serpents upon him, what Goddess could the young man pray to for salvation? Would he fee-
