Karyn

Chloe frowned at the strangeness of the book. Her position in life made her lost all belief in magic and luck, but that book called upon it. It must have been a prank, what else could it be ? And yet, alone in that abandoned building she spoke.

"Karyn... I call you..."

The room enlightened in a blue light produced by the pages of the book and, in panic, Chloe threw the book in front of her.

In the tome, Karyn and Ariel were looking at the redhead with curiosity. The copy of the tome on a pedestal could show what was going on around the original, when it was open on both side. And the two imps were watching the soon-to-be new master.

"She seems nice..." Karyn said on a friendly tone.

But Ariel didn't seemed convinced.

"It's a street rat... I'm not even sure she'll keep the tome. She will probably sell it for **** or something."

"That's harsh ! She lives in the streets, I'm sure she's really capable ! And she doesn't look like a junkie."

The voice of Chloe then echoed in the room and Karyn got sucked in the pages of the tome on the pedestal.

Karyn appeared in all her glory above the tome, wearing her leather jacket and low cut jeans, her pierced tits in full display, and of course her golden bracelets on her forearms.

"What the fuck ??" Chloe shouted in absolute shock.

Karyn smiled and floated to the ground, she then bowed, a hand on her chest, the other extended to the side.

"Hi, I'm Karyn, I'm here as you called me... mistress..."

Karyn had a lot of fun going into her servant role. She could remember very well how confusing it was to see Ariel doing it. Chloe stayed back against the wall, her eyes still wide open.

"You-You're a demon ??"

Karyn tried to keep herself from laughing, it was pretty much the same reaction as her when she first saw Ariel. She stood back up and lifted her index in front of her face.

"I'm a imp, not exactly the same thing ! We're here to help the mistress of the tome. Meaning, you !"

The girl slightly relaxed.

"Are you the ones that made the girl disappear ?"

The pink haired imp frowned in confusion.

"The girl disappear ? What girl ?"

"The one from the apartment !"

The coin fell and Karyn realized what it was about.

"Oooh !! The girl... It's me ! I'm the missing girl !" She said with a big smile

It seemed to have helped Chloe to relax because she leaned forward to take a better look at the imp.

"You've become an imp ? How ? Where did you go ? In hell ?"

Bombarded with questions, Karyn took a step back.

"What ?? No ! I live in the book with my friend Ariel !"

The redhead raised an eyebrow.

"In the book ?"

"Yeah ! It has a small kitchen, a nice living room, big bedrooms with comfy bed... It's fun ! The only downside is you can only come out if a tome master or mistress calls you !"

Chloe brought her legs against her torso, holding them with her arms, and put her chin on her knees, frowning.

"Is that true ?"

"Do I look unhappy ? If I came from hell, wouldn't I be like angry or sad, or something ?"

"Then, how do I become an imp ?"

Karyn couldn't hide her surprise on that question.

"Wow ! That went quick..." She said. "It took me several days, to turn into an imp, I don't know if there is a way to be faster. But aren't you a little bit fast on the decision ?"

"Fast ? Look around ! I live in an abandoned building ! I suck dicks to buy food !" She said showing around with her hand. "If I can live freely in a house without paying shit, sign me up !"

The imp looked up, a finger on her lips, thinking.

"Good point." She said before getting back to Chloe. "Call Ariel, maybe she knows a faster way !"

Chloe, took the book and called Ariel. The imp came out pretty much the same way as Karyn and presented herself.

"Hi, I'm Ariel, nice to meet you, mistress."

The pink haired imp turned to her.

"That's a way less formal presentation than you did for me."

"You already presented yourself, I don't see the point of going all out now, especially since she want to join us."

"So, you can do it faster ?" Chloe asked.

Ariel looked back at her, smiling.

"You're willing, so, it should already fasten the process, and I have an idea on how we could get it even faster !"
