Josephine is caught by surprise

The waitress arrives at our table just as Josephine pulls her bra out of her shirt.

Josephine notices the waitress as she arrives, and blushes a deep red. The waitress, however, is of course completely nonchalant.

"Oops! Sorry, do you want to find someplace to put your bra first?" she asks Josephine.

"Why don't you put that on the seat next to you," I tell Josephine. She hesitates, but then puts it down next to herself, moving in a slow deliberate way. She must be in a state of shock.

"Okay!" The waitress chirps. "I have the pad thuay," she says, looking to the two of us.

"That's mine," I say. She reaches to put the dish in front of me.

"And here's the Tom Kha Gai," she adds, putting a bowl of soup in front of Josephine.

"Thanks," Josephine says to our server.

The waitress smiles knowingly at Josephine, glancing at her bra. "I'm looking forward to doing that when I get home after my shift," she says in a stage whisper. "Do you feel more comfortable?"

Josephine stammers. "Y-yes, actually I do. I just suddenly really needed to take it off," she said, glancing to me and my phone.

"Well, enjoy!" She says to the two of us. "Careful with your soup, it's very hot!" She adds over her shoulder.
