Jenna, the hottest girl at school, who enjoys teasing John when he loses

Gym was not, by any stretch of the imagination, a class John enjoyed. Yeah, it was a break from the usual sort of sitting-and-writing work that the other classes were comprised of. On the other hand, he was a lot better at sitting and writing than he was at running, or jumping, or generally being good at sports. Not that he was totally out of shape; he just wasn’t very fit. Or coordinated. Or enthusiastic.

Of course, there was something that John was enthusiastic about. Everyone in school knew it. Most of them had seen the aftermath at least once. Some of them, like the girl walking towards him as he exited the boy’s locker room, even abused this fact from time to time.

“Hey Johnny!” John flinched at the voice. He wore a half-hearted grin, but as he turned to face its owner, he knew he was in for an experience that day.

“H-Hey, Jenna.”

Jenna was well known at school, being a senior like John, and one who had that right mix of pretty, clever, and friendly to become very popular. Of course, she was friendly to people who were already her friends- if you were bothersome, or like John was, exploitable, she knew how to make your life hard. Thanks to his habit, John was a favorite target for her in recent years. Still, he knew there were worse people that could be coming up to him, predatory look in their eyes. Not many, but still….

“So, John… Do you know what we’re doing in gym today?” John shook his head, Jenna not even bothering to hide her smile anymore. “Coach says that today, we’re…”
