Who Are You?

Jax

Chapter 2 by Zanzin

Jax turned off the television with a flick of his remote, the anchor’s voice cutting off mid-sentence. The living room fell into heavy silence, broken only by the low hum of the city outside his apartment window. He rubbed his temples, trying to shake off the ridiculous broadcast. BimboPocalypse. What a load of crap.

“Aliens? Nanotechnology? Give me a break,” he muttered, standing up and stretching his lean frame. At 28, Jax was your average guy—dark messy hair, sharp jawline, and the kind of build that came from too many late-night coding sessions and not enough gym time. He worked freelance cybersecurity, which meant he spent most days debunking digital nonsense. This “virus” sounded like the world’s dumbest hoax.

He walked into the kitchen to grab a beer when a sharp knock echoed through the door. Odd. He wasn’t expecting anyone.

“Who is it?” Jax called

[out.

No](http://out.No) answer.

Frowning, he approached the peephole. The hallway looked empty. He unlocked the door anyway, cracking it open with the chain still attached.

Nothing.

Just as he was about to close it, a faint sweet scent drifted in—like cotton candy mixed with something chemical. His head swam for a second. Jax blinked hard, shaking it off. Probably just stress.

He shut the door, locked it, and headed back toward his desk. That’s when the tingling

[started.

It](http://started.It) began in his fingertips, a warm buzz that spread up his arms. Jax froze, staring at his hands. They looked… softer? The veins were less prominent, the skin smoother. He laughed nervously. “No way. This isn’t—”

A wave of heat rolled through his chest. His shirt suddenly felt tighter, then looser in strange places. Jax stumbled to the bathroom mirror, heart pounding.

His reflection stared back, wide-eyed. His face was changing. Cheekbones softening, lips plumping slightly, eyes growing larger and brighter. His short hair was lengthening, turning a glossy shade of dark brown with unnatural highlights.

“What the hell?!” Jax grabbed the sink, breathing hard. The changes accelerated. His shoulders narrowed. His waist pulled in while his hips flared outward. A strange pressure built in his chest, swelling into two firm, sensitive mounds that strained against his tightening shirt.

He tried to fight it, gripping the counter until his knuckles turned white. But the warmth kept spreading lower, rewriting him from the inside. His mind fogged with sudden, intrusive thoughts—frilly clothes, giggles, the urge to pose and pout.

“No… I’m Jax. I’m… fuck, this feels kinda… good?” The last word slipped out in a higher, breathier tone.

The transformation slowed, leaving him—no, her—panting in front of the mirror. Long lashes fluttered over bright blue eyes. Plump lips parted in shock. A stunning, exaggerated hourglass figure stared back, barely contained by clothes that no longer fit right.

Jax touched her new face, then her generous chest, a mix of horror and strange euphoria swirling inside.

The TV in the other room suddenly flicked back on by itself. The same news anchor appeared, now smiling wider.

“Breaking update: Reports confirm the BimboPocalypse is very real. If you’re experiencing symptoms, just relax… it’s so much more fun this way.”

Jax’s reflection smiled back at her, even as part of her old self screamed inside. She let out a soft, bubbly giggle despite herself.
