Jan. Week 4: A Long Weekend-It was just a random coworker (Luck: -5)

Luckily, it was just Mrs…someone she couldn’t remember one of the new hires…Mrs. Laurel. Leah and Mrs. Laurel did the regular dance of hellos, “how’s your long weekend going?” and the traditional social routine of meeting someone in public who you probably should know more about but don’t.

Mrs. Laurel was soon seated and then Jonathan and Leah were quickly seated at a booth. The lunch was enjoyable and the time spent with Jonathan during the week was a rare blessing.

The afternoon alone at their place was a relaxing calm before the storm of the work week to come.
