Jake goes home

"Haha! Whatever!" Jake laughs, knowing he would get his way anyhow. He left Adam's room and went home.

The next day at school, Adam hadn't forgotten about the encounter of the day before. What a jerk! Normally he would discuss it with his friends and laugh about it. But somehow today was different. He felt like he should keep some distance to his friends. The entire day he was kind of ignoring them, or at least giving very short replies when he was asked something.

As lunch time came around, Adam walked into the canteen and saw his friend sitting at their usual table. In the very back, he spotted Jake sitting by himself. "No way im eating lunch with that jerk... i'm gonna have lunch with my REAL friends..." Adam thought. However, as he approached his friends, his body refused to stop. Instead he kept on walking towards Jake and sat down across from him.

"Oh, hey Adam! How nice of you to join me!" Jake grinned

"Wait... What? No, i wanted to eat with my friends! Dude, you seriously have some shit to work out!" Adam snarled, but didn't get up from the table

"Now now, Adam. Don't be like that, i'm the only friend you'll need! Why don't you go over to them and tell them that you never really liked them and that your friendship is over. Oh and while you're at it... how about you break up with Jessica? Tell her she's an ugly bitch! Haha! " Jake grins

This made Adam's blood boil. That smug little face on his chubby body... he felt the urge rise to punch him in the face! Adam got up, frowning intensely at Jake. He then turned around and went over to his friends. "Hey guys, i'm not going to hang out with you anymore! I never really liked you, and our friendship is over! Oh, and Jessica... we're through because you're an ugly bitch!" Adam snarled at his friends. The whole group fell silent. Jessica started crying and ran to the toilets.

Adams eyes grew wide. "What did i just do... N-no, guys i didn't mean any of that! Jessica, wait! I didn't mean it, come back!" Adam exclaims as he tried to follow her

"Adam! Get back here! You don't need her!" Jake shouted and Adam followed his order. He stopped running and turned right around to sit with Jake

"What the hell happened?! H-how are you doing this?!" Adam uttered, looking quite rattled.

Jake takes the R.A.D. from his pocket. "This device lets me manipulate reality. You have to do everything i tell you, haha!"

Adam just sat there, letting it sink in. Did he really just break up with the lead cheerleader? Did he really just cut ties with his friends? Does jake really have such a powerful device? Honestly, that could be the only explanation, so it must be true...
