What roadblocks does Mackenzie encounter as she chases her rogue luggage?
It was Mackenzie, in the Hallway, with the Towel
"This isn't supposed to be happening... This isn't supposed to be happening..." Mackenzie repeatedly mumbled to herself as she tiptoed down the hallway.
Mackenzie held onto her optimistic belief in the shower test, that her vacation could somehow end up being humiliation-free, even after all of this. Her belief was faltering by the second, but she wished with all her might that this was all still somehow coincidence...
...But, walking naked down her cruise ship's hallway with just a tiny square towel stretched over her private parts? She found it pretty hard to deny evidence against her silly hypothesis when she was actively experiencing it.
There were doors on either side every ten feet or so, most of which were likely cabins for other guests, although she knew at least one that she already passed was a kitchen of some sort, so she couldn't be sure what or who was on the other side of any given door.
"They'd certainly be surprised to see what's on this side..." Mackenzie mumbled to herself.
Just past her distant suitcase was a four way intersection at the center of the ship, with elevators to the other floors at three of the corners, entry to the stairs at the fourth, and very similar hallways left, right, and forward. Since this was currently in the main hallway at the same level as the main deck outside, Mackenzie was headed straight toward one of the busiest areas of the ship.
Mackenzie's heart was doing its best to leap right out of her chest. She still had several more doors to pass before she got to her luggage, and then she still had to make the return trip.
Mackenzie was thankful that at least the hallway was still deserted...
That thought seemed to immediately jinx her. As if she summoned them with the power of her mind, two doors could be heard loudly opening and closing less than twenty feet behind her.
Mackenzie pulled her towel as taut as it would go, providing as much coverage for her ass as it would allow. While actively dying of embarrassment, she tried to march as casually as possible, but her robotic movements and visibly tense shoulders meant she was noticeably failing.
She plodded down the hallway like this for a few steps before anxiously twisting her neck around to see if she was being followed. The debatably-towel-clad redhead thought she was being pretty slick about it, but the deer in the headlights expression on her face and the nervous, jerky movement of her turn told a totally different story. Her cheeks being almost as red as her hair didn't help her case either, although since her hair was dripping wet, it was quite a bit darker than usual.
Regardless of how deeply non-nonchalant she looked, Mackenzie spotted the other people who entered the hallway.
What kind of company does Mackenzie have?
