It's sent flying

As the creature lunged at them. Jasper noticed a green blur zip into the room. The next thing he knew the creature was sent flying into a nearby wall.

"That's what you get." A tough feminine voice called.

Esther cried tears of joy as she rushed to the new comer. "Nia, I'm so glad you're here." She exclaimed as she hugged the girl. Nia merely looked at her with a playful smile as patted Esther on the head.

"Don't mention it." She answered before shooting Jasper a look. "If you had both waited for me, I would have been here sooner." She said sternly.

"We uh...didn't want to interrupt you." Jasper coughed as he looked away. "So did you get through with that guy." He had always had a crush on Nia but she never saw him the same way. He didn't know why, she just always used to say he wasn't her type, but she did try to remain friends though so he treasured that.

"No." Nia answered unbothered.

"Sorry to hear."

"Eh, let's just beat this thing and get it over with." Nia told them as they turned their attention back to the monster. The creature had stopped snarling and were now looking at them curiously, its different heads looking at each of them.

"Why isn't it attacking?" Esther wondered.

"Maybe it realized its outnumbered." Jasper theorized.

"Or maybe its trying to see who is the bigger threat?" Nia noted.

"Let's not wait to find out." Jasper answered. "I'll take the ram head, you try for the lion." He commanded. "Esther, warn us if you see the snake acting." He commanded.
