It's a mob

Abby and The Yeti looked up to see the yokel from before standing next to The Sheriff... And a large mob armed to the teeth with clubs, guns, and farming equipment.

"That's them, Sheriff!" The Yokel shouted, "The monster and the streaker!"

"Ma'am come over here, quietly and slowly." The Sheriff told Abby before turning to a woman with a shotgun, "Mrs. Mills, take the shot the second she leaves."

"Hey!" Abby shouted as she stood in front of The Yeti, "You are not laying one hand on him! I'll go with you, but -"

"Ma'am! You don't understand the seriousness of -" The Sheriff began, only to stop as he squinted his eyes at Abby's face. "Do I know you?"

"I don't think we -"

"Wait a second! That's right!" The Sheriff said as he narrowed his eyes, "You're that bitch that escaped my sister's mountain top prison! The first one who ever escaped there!"

"Yeah, I recognize her, too!" A mob member shouted, "They all thought she was dead!"

"Yeah! There was a reward of $999,000 for her capture and return, too!"

Abby paled. In her attempts to get back to civilization, she had neglected one tiny but crucial detail: She was still an escaped convict. Of course people would be on a manhunt for her! And after she was revealed to be alive, there was no doubt the bounty just went up!

"And if that is an actual sasquatch..." Mrs. Mills said as she lifted her shotgun at The Yeti.

Abby turned to The Yeti and shouted, "RUN!"

The Yeti didn't need to be told twice as he scooped Abby up in his big, strong arms, the primitive feral man running off as the angry mob gave chase.

The Sheriff stayed behind as he pulled out his radio. "Dispatch! Get me Warden Francine Jones. She's in for a big surprise..."
