Is Buffy dead? Or is this just a dream?

It's a dream

Suddenly Buffy felt someone shaking her shoulder. It didn't seem to be Drusilla. It seemed to be someone else ...

Buffy opened her eyes and found herself lying in her own bed, wearing her favorite nightgown. She saw Cordelia and Willow standing by her bedside, surrounded by a few other familiar faces, and smiled.

"What happened, Buffy?" asked Willow. "You seemed to be having some kind of nightmare. I don't know what it was about but you kept muttering, 'oh, god, oh, god, oh, god' over and over again as if you were being tortured in some hideous hell-dimension."

"No worries, Willow," said Buffy. "It was a bad dream like you said. And you weren't there, but Cordelia was there and so were a lot of other people." She started pointing, "You were there and you were there and you should have been there but weren't and you wer -- Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Funny thing," said Drusilla. "I was just taking a midnight stroll last night and I just happened to pass your friend Anya here in the park. I made a wish and then suddenly I was here."

"That's silly," said Willow. "How could a wish do that?"

"Oh, hush," said Cordelia. "At least she did not wish for something silly."

"What do you mean, silly?" asked Willow.

"I don't know. Something foolish like 'I wish Buffy would just go naked for the rest of her life.'"

"No, Cordelia!" exclaimed Buffy, but already she was hearing the words "Wish granted!"

And then suddenly she was naked again and Anya -- of all people -- was leaving the room. "Sorry, no backsies," she said. Then she disappeared out the door.
