Invitation by owl post

      Since he was now the owner of this castle of mysteries, Harry was able to invite whoever he pleased. But he thought better to start small. Using his father’s invitation to him as a baseline, Harry wrote an invitation for Hermione to join him at the castle. Once he had completed the invitation, he sent it out using one of the owls living in the castle’s owlery.

      Now all he could do was to wait. With any luck, the owl will return with Hermione’s response. But Harry know there was a possibility Hermione wouldn’t respond to his invitation, she might even reject it. After all, they hadn’t spoken since Harry decided hide away from the world and distract himself with old wizarding files. Hermione could possibly resent him for that. And if she did reply to his invitation, what could her response possibly say. Harry continued considering the possibilities until he heard a flutter of wings that told him the owl had returned.
