Introductions

You emerge from the tomb, blinking in the daylight. Looking around, you see the girls all staring at you nervously, clearly wondering if everything is ok. As you walk towards them, Melora is the first to approach you, her eyes narrowed as she looks at you.

“You’re still you, Nicholas. But there’s someone else with you…”

No kidding. Very perceptive of you.

You shake your head at Lilith’s sarcasm, and smile at Melora. “I’m fine. The being in the armor is…controlled, at least for now. Her name is Lilith.”

Sarah comes over, running her hands over the armor. “This is incredible! I can feel the power in the metal. It’s beyond anything I’ve felt before.”

Of course it is. Now if I could just get this man to submit…

You smile as the rest of the girls come over and reassure themselves that all is well. Lilith makes snarky comments about each of them, though only inside your head. The only exception is Ferra, who seems to worry Lilith somehow, although she refuses to explain. Once everyone is satisfied, you ask Lilith to introduce herself to the others. Aside from Nadia, everyone looks around in surprise when Lilith’s voice slides into their minds.

Ugh…greetings. I am Lilith, and I suppose I serve this human, for now. You are all quite attractive, at least. It seems there will be plenty to feed on…

You chuckle and shake your head. “I had a feeling it would go like that. Lilith a bit grumpy that she can’t control me.”

Hmph.

Nadia looks at you with concern. “Just be careful, master. The armor is crafty. Don’t let your guard down with it…her.”

Ohh, master, I like that. She can stay.

You sigh. “The thing that’s going to take some getting used to is the running commentary in my head.”

Cassie giggles. “Just tell her to be quiet, or she won’t get any ‘fun time’ with us!”

Alex nods, laughing. “Yeah! You know she won’t want to miss out on that!”

…they’re not wrong.

You shake your head. “It’s like having one of you sitting in my brain. I’m not sure that’s necessarily a good thing.”

Ferra takes your hand. “Do not worry, master. We will keep you on task. We have important things to do.”

You smile at the golem girl. “Thanks, Ferra.”

Ferra grins slightly. “Although, you do owe us a big celebration for our victory, and we need to get to know Nadia better.”

You glance at the faerie, who grins. “We may have been distracting ourselves with plans while you were inside.”

Are they all perverts? No wonder I can’t seduce you.

You laugh. “We’ll have to take care of that once we get back home. And now we have all the pieces we need to move forward.”

Melora nods. “There’s a lot to do! We should hurry back.”

Sarah nudges the seer, grinning. “Because you want to get started on dismantling the Order, or because you want to get your hands on Nadia?”

Melora blushes. “Why can’t it be both?”

All the girls laugh, but you note how quickly everyone gets ready to go. In your mind, Lilith is quiet, though you sense she’s observing closely, watching the friendly banter. You even detect a hint of jealousy, though you doubt she would ever admit it. Still, something to keep in mind.
