Introductions #1

The door opened, and 12 women strode out. They moved to the centre of the courtyard and stood in a line. All of them looked at least a little apprehensive. Some were fairly beautiful while others were slightly on the wrong side of plain-looking. Pat recognized some of them.

"Here we have our contestants. Now ladies, I understand you read and agreed to the rules in the other room." The contestants all nodded. "Very good. If you haven't realised already, you don't have a choice but to participate in this show. This is a different world. Call it a 'pocket dimension' if you will. It doesn't matter. If you accept that, and embrace it...who knows, you might actually have a good time. Anyway, let's get started. Contestant #1, please step forward."

A tall blonde girl on the far end stepped forward. She was young, with large, perky breasts currently being supported by a pink sports bra. She had her blonde hair tied up in a ponytail and grey yoga pants hugging her firm ass. She was holding a water-bottle and had clearly been exercising when she's been plucked away, into this world.

"I can see by the look on your face that you recognize her." Leah said, scrutinising Pat. "In fact, all of the contestants this season will be connected to you in some way. Some you may recognize, some you may not, but they are all in your life in some form or another. So, tell us, who is this?"

"Ashlynn." Pat says, his voice dripping with exasperation. "She's my Dad's new fiancé."
A graphic flashed up on the screen for viewers at home.

At a gesture from Leah, Ashlynn took a seat by the pool. The next woman stepped forward, shorter than Ashlynn and stockier with darker hair.
"It seems like you recognize her too." Leah noted.
"Yeah, Hey Michelle."
"Hey." She mumbled, averting her gaze. She was obviously still overwhelmed by this whole experience. Her bio flashed up on the screen.

After the introductions, Michelle also took a seat by the pool, opposite Ashlynn.

The third contestant was an older woman, wearing a beige pencil skirt, salmon blouse and beige pumps. She had severe eyebrows and a little too much makeup to look classy. Her eyes were scanning the room, shrewdly, as if calculating something. When Leah called her forwards, she stayed where she was.

"You can't make me do anything I don't want to do. I'm a lawyer. I know my rights. I don't know what kind of crazy stunt this is, but I'm going to sue you, and everyone involved with this." Her voice was high and shrill. Leah just sighed, and with a gesture of her hand, the third contestant was swept off her feet and dragged forward, complaining the whole time.

"She seems familiar, but I can't quite place her." Pat said.
"You're Mr Doherty? My daughter Mikaela is in your English class. We met once at a Parent-Teacher conference." Her intro graphic gave the people at home some more information.

Leah dismissed the woman with a wave of her hand, and Candace moved over to stand leaning against one of the columns, eyeing the other contestants.

"Contestant #4, please step forward." She did so, her caramel skin glistening with sweat. She was very nervous. She was the first non-Caucasian contestant, slender with dark hair. Given her lack of makeup and her onesie, it looks like she was having a quiet day at home when she was dragged here.

"Sorry, I don't recognize you at all." Pat said. "Have we met before."
"A few times. I see you every now and then at the coffee shop where I work."

The audience got to know her better through the graphic that flashed up.

Leah flashed the camera a winning smile. "Well ladies and gentlemen, those are our first four contestants that will be competing for our master's affections, and a place in his harem. We'll be right back to introduce the others after these short messages."
