My New Life

I woke up with a jolt.

Surely it was a dream. It can't be real, can it?

I was sweating and panting, and it made my wife wake up. She saw me sweating, and immediately checked my forehead.

"Fuck, you're burning up!" she exclaimed. And I was. I could feel it in my body. Something had changed, and I couldn't pinpoint what it was.

"Riley, Melissa, get in here!" shouted my wife. "Daddy's really sick, I don't know what to do!"

Kayden, my beautiful wife, had given me twin daughters. They were fraternal twins, but they looked really alike.

They barged into our room as Kayden turned on the lights. It was then that I saw she was on the verge of tears.

"Mom, what's the matter?" asked Riley, as Melissa came over to me and felt my arm.

"Holy fuck, Daddy is hot as hell" said Melissa. Riley came over and felt my forehead, and almost recoiled in shock. Kayden had tears in her eyes.

All three of them looked really scared.

It was then, that I remembered my dream.
