Introduce yourself to the druid

“Oh greetins” you raise an arm in a motionless sort of wave. You find yourself distracted by the unfortunately awkward angle you speak to her from. Her wide sitting stance does not leave anything to the imagination and you are trying to avoid making eye contact with her lower half.

“Yo.” She chirps with a little wave.

“Uhm, what’s yer story? I know your pals with Darren yeah?”

“Pals? Kinda I guess.”

“So how’d you end up as a chipmunk in the middle of this camp?” She’s being a lot more brief with her answers than you’d like.

“Orcs took me here.” She says in an oddly chipper tone while swinging her feet. “I escaped though. Well kinda.”

“Care to elaborate?”

“Fight didn’t go well. Orcs took me n’ Kayo here. Took us there.” She says pointing at the stables. “Orcs defy the natural mating processes of other races by forcing themselves on women. Tried to do the same to me. You follow?”

“I get the idea lass, ya don’t have to cont-“

“I was lucky, they looked away for a little too long and poof I went. Scurried away I did. Poor Kayo though, not so lucky as I.”

“I can imagine. She still in there?”

“Na she didn’t stay there long after I poofed. Think she’s somewhere in the tented bits.”

“Why haven’t you left?”

“Dunno, fair bit of nuts in these trees. Plus I’d have to go far. Too hard. Hiding in this tree is safe.”

“If you wanted to become a chipmunk and hop in me pack, you’re welcome to. At some point we’ll be leavin’ in a hurry.”

“Can’t.”

“Can’t?”

“Tired, need to rest before I can poof again.”

“Mm I see. Well when the chaos starts make your dash outta here lass.”

“Kay.” She climbs higher into the tree, finding a more foliaged spot to roost.

“Well.” Syvella says in a hushed voice. “She certainly is…”

“Strange?” You reply

“I was going to say esoteric but strange is appropriate.”

“Aye, let’s make sure to check up on her on the way out. She seems nice enough.”

The two of you creep up the hillock into the small wooded area headed further up the hill.
