Innocent girls can have fun too

Kevin arrived at church and attended a Sunday school class before the sermon. It wasn't his favorite but folks his age were in a class together. After the sermon, it was mostly old ladies who would introduce themselves. There was a girl in the class, Nicole who seemed to really speak up and she was beautiful with dark hair and eyes. After class, she introduced herself to Kevin. She was 19 and worked at the local florists shop. She still lived with her mother since she was saving up for a house.

Nicole seemed very sheltered. Kevin wondered how people like this were still around with the internet and everything else, but she was very nice. She also seemed to have a rebellious streak. The sermon was going to be a bit late that morning because the preacher had something come up. Most socialized in the sanctuary, while the younger folks socialized outside. Nicole wanted to show Kevin something. She was pretty sure she didn't have a lot in common with a 'big city' boy like Kevin, but they could bond over her showing him a secret. She took him to the secretary's office. Under the desk, there was a small flask. Nicole showed it to Kevin and giggled.

Kevin: What's in it?

Nicole: Vodka, I think. Do you want some?

Kevin: Sure.

Kevin took a swig and found it was not vodka, but moonshine. He handed it to Nicole.

Kevin: That is moonshine, not vodka. You want some?

Nicole: I don't know, I get giggly when I drink and we have to sit through the sermon. You should sit with me and mom.

Kevin: Sure. Suit yourself.

Nicole: Actually I'll have a little bit.

Kevin: Alright.

Nicole took a sip that looked like more than a little bit, but that wasn't really any of Kevin's business anyways. They went to the sermon and sat with Nicole's mom, Amanda, while Anita and her daughters were a few rows in front of them. Kevin was feeling the moonshine but it mostly made him a little drowsy as he sat and listened to the preacher talk. Nicole was the opposite and couldn't stay still. Amanda kept lightly hitting her leg to signal to straighten up. The preacher said something about debauchery in Corinth and Nicole giggled loudly, then caught herself. Her mother grabbed her and whisper-yelled (tone of yelling but volume of whisper), "What has gotten into you. . . Oh, I see. You were in Ms. Brin's office before the sermon?" Nicole looked at the floor and nodded yes. Amanda grabbed Kevin collar and he turned with mouth agape in surprise. This was enough to confirm what Amanda suspected.

Amanda: You too huh? Well, after the sermon, you are 'coming to lunch' with us.

Kevin didn't know what this lady was talking about and just sat through the little bit of the sermon that was left. Amanda told Anita she was inviting Kevin to lunch and Kevin nodded in agreement. Once the were out of the sanctuary and almost safe from sight, but not quite, she grabbed Kevin's arm and Nicole's ear and marched them out to her car. They got in and she took them to her house.
