Hm. Maybe if I add a similarly intimate phrase I'll get the result I was looking for? I replace 'Innocent Expression' with 'Making Out with Each Other.'

The corridor's walls change angles as we slide from it center to the beginning of a new passage in its side. The lamps dim as well as the columns lose their painted finish, giving the place a kind of gloomy atmosphere with only the bright gold of the lamps providing light. At least the proportions of the world around us seem to make sense again.

Meanwhile, the twins and are now all kneeling in the stone, but the steel of their platemail bikinis seems to have faded in lieu of white cloth with blue, lacy trim, and they're not completely barefoot even as they kneel on the cold stone. Also their hairstyles and color are slightly different once more... but beyond that, the twin on the left leans into her sister's embrace, both hands resting between her legs, as her sister holds her by the upper arms and makes out with her.

The hands aren't quite where I wanted, but I think this has been a mostly successful change. What now?
