Infancy

The sight seemed to quicken, through its history.

I saw the plains became forests, the forests became jungles, the jungles then caming back to plains again.

Among which, there seemed to be a new resident. An ape, it is called.

They gathered around themselves all the time. They were taller than everyone else. Which gave them some advantage to spot the bullies ahead.

Then a thunder rain bestowed itself, a might of nature, a flash of lightning among the rain. Soon, a great fire started.

The apes, despite their fear, seemed to connect something, something deep buried within us, everyone.

Under the rain, they were shivering, they moved in closer to catch some warmth. Others are fleeing, for they knew the might of this brightening bush. Not them, not them, they desperately craved for its energy, for its power. Then, the most **** among them seemed to make something up in their mind. He leaped towards it, by some influence, some instinct maybe, that told him, it's the embrace of love, not the questing of ****.

The others now seemed frighten by this act, their natural self preservation kicking in, backed off.

But not fully, no no no, they backed off, then came back, surrounding the fire. The brave ape who casted himself into this might, did not scream or cry, did not jump or roll. He simply laid there, in its warmth, drifting into slumber.

The morrow came, whence the rain ceased, the last spark of last nights fire, flew up, then fell. The apes all slept around the ash, which did not spread. Then the bravest, he rose. So did the others.

He Then Stood Atop The Ashen Pile! And Cried, Fiercer Than A Lion's Roar! More Intimidating Than A Wolf's Shriek! He Rose With One Hand Up, Staring At It With Its Incoherent Screaming Continuing!

Then It Lit, A Flame, Dancing On Top.
