Inebriation and Captivation

“That dragged. I’m glad you were there to keep me company,” Will said with a glint in his eye. “I owe you a drink for getting me through that.”

“I know just the place,” Samantha replied. A hint of guilt was beginning to set in, but Samantha knew she deserved one night of fun. She was a loving, devoted mother who always put her family first. When she got this promotion, she had hoped for a little recognition, but all her husband had gotten her was a “Congratulations” card. A drink with Will would certainly be more of what she had expected.

The two drove to a nearby speakeasy, where they found a quiet booth in the back to reflect on their day.

“What’ll you be having?” a waiter inquired.

“I’ll have a shot of Jameson,” Will said.

Samantha had never been a big drinker, but she was impressed with Will’s confidence in his order.

“I’ll do the same,” she replied.

The waitress quickly brought two shots of Jameson over, and Samantha and Will downed them immediately.

The music began playing a bit louder. Feeling a bit flush, Samantha scooted toward Will to continue the conversation.

“So what do you think?” Samantha asked with fire in her eyes.

“Of what? This club? We don’t have a lot of bars where I’m from,” he replied.

“Not of the club silly,” she purred while placing a hand on Will’s leg. “What do you think of the drinks?”

Will couldn’t answer for a variety of reasons. First off, he couldn’t believe this middle aged woman had her hand on his leg. Usually, women weren’t so forward with him, but he could tell she wanted him. Second, he couldn’t believe the site in front of him, almost immediately losing himself in her cleavage.
