Improvements and expansions

Thanks to Driska, Gerald gained a great advantage and improvement as a leader, since Driska hadn't simply been helping her captors but was actually holding back, only helping them enough so that her family wouldn't be harmed further while causing deaths where she could without her being deemed unreliable. The mind of Driska was unimaginably bright, delighting Gerald as they now moved across the town unrestrained and went to all the buildings where people were either lying in wait or scavenging. If they committed suicide then Gerald would infect them if they were intact enough, otherwise, he would feed them to the zombies. In any case, they joined his base one way or another and watched as Gerald transformed the hidden mountain town that was significantly more advanced and invested in than other towns since it was where the rich placed their children with trust and wasn't too far from the city. Starting with the mountains and moving on to other things:

• Gerald created a large moat 3 football fields long around the town with extra territories taken for farming and to improve Gerald's Warlord system. Because of the mountains and the way the light fell, the moats empty would rarely have any light and would simply look like a void to look down on, scaring invaders who were even more terrified by the enormous stone walls and 8 gateways that had large iron doors and retractable bridges.
• An airport and helipads were also constructed with a large runway that is comparable to an airport and even had a processing centre and hangers.
• Everything is powered by zombies, solar panels and windmills which use the strong winds
• The original winding bridge that led to the town was straightened and directly led to the other mountain far off and past the forest in the mountains which completely skipped the winding road. The winding road is only kept as a precaution and is cut off at the entry and exit and is secured with multiple traps, explosives and sensors.
• The entire town was cleaned up and cleared of bodies, with the bodies being used as compost
• Gerald moved all essential personnel to the base while others were moved into nearby buildings that were also fortified
• All buildings were both sealed and fortified until they were in use, in which they would be unsealed and put into use.
• Complex medical machinery was returned to the hospital with medicines and bandages being kept in Gerald's inventory.
• Massive and large farms were set up
• Gerald constructed a giant spire that acted as an observatory, both for the stars and to monitor the mountains and even as far as the city which rested on plains. Lower floors that weren't visible above the walls were used to connect to satellites and military networks thanks to Driska who was able to establish contact with numerous military shards and civilian groups that had formed after the desire and by pulling rank, Driska was able to gather the loyal ones while the disloyal stayed back to manage their own territories and act like kings. As for the rest of the spire, it was used for servers, civilian observatories that had its own elevator and weapons bays for mortars and cannons.
• The outer walls were filled with military anti-air weapons thanks to Driska providing specifications that Gerald was able to simply trace with his powers.
• Everyone was given and had become quite adept in military tactics and techniques, from hand-to-hand, CQC, gun handling, procedures and protocols and how to fall into order.
• Advancing all the zombies under Gerald's control by sending them into the city, thanks to the new bridge, and clearing out zombies who have mutated or remain at basic levels which have grown over the months to stronger and stronger standards which are thankfully true for all zombies, including Gerald's army. The only ones that weren't killed and harvested were those that were females or humans and quickly filled up the city.

After all this time, a total of 5 months had passed with most of it being because of the moat, in this time the bellies of the women began to show and had become quite large but were lessened in their negative attributes of less flexibility and what not thanks to zombie jewels that were also shared among the civilians made loyal to Gerald. In this time, Gerald had also made a move to the large underground complex housing Driska's soldiers and military assets, leaving Gerald and Driska to watch in dismay and horror and Driska's fears were proved true to some extent. When people turned randomly across the globe, those doing drills or working on improvements included pilots who used the titans to attack the other piloted titans, causing the underground chambers to collapse and most people to die with those that survived being infected by researchers and soldiers who had turned who were not in the suits, infecting those that were outside of the wreckage or were partially trapped. About 300 gundams made it out alongside 300 mechs while 1 titan clawed itself out of the wreckage and ripped open ground like a mole, explaining the giant hole leading to the facility. Though volatile, the most alarming thing is that the titan and other pilots were not present in satellite scans or reports by the soldiers. With no other choice, Gerald cleaned up the rubble, leaving a very visible crater which had been picked clean of its mechs, gundams and titans. That was when Driska got an idea and called Gerald over, explaining how she could create a homing beacon which would send the zombified tech over but would also launch a nuclear missile and is part of a recovery protocol since the new military branch was so far ahead of its time in this aspect of military engineering. Despite the inherent risk, Gerald was delighted by the idea and decided not to simply do it in some random place but in the largest and most deadly city in the world, Tokyo, which had been completely overrun and only had screams and outcries of help that all went silent in only 3 hours. Even using special infected scanners that were deployed by NASA remnants and were accessible to the public showed that all were long dead and that the density of infected caused the entire nation to be overrun and start cannibalising other infected for space, creating one of the most deadly, packed and highest threat-level areas. The only problem was the distance, to which Gerald simply smirked and asked where the missile was as he jumped into the silo next to the facility and told Driska to meet him at home. Living every man's dream, he launched himself on a rocket like a horse, riding to Tokyo before jumping off when she told him to, using his spatial power to explode the air and watch the explosion. Knowing it would take the zombies a few hours to obediently board the automatic boats across the ocean, Gerald went to the other towns, looting anything he could and confirming the lack of life while also fucking female zombies simply for the power boost and fun of it.

Eventually, the zombies arrived and caused a massive battle where Gerald could finally feel the thrill and joy of a battle between giants, seeing how the investments in the giant armours were not wasted. With a million different weapons, the ability to literally move mountains and the movements of a boxer, the titan almost knocked out Gerald's lights, making him ecstatic to know that something truly challenged him now that he was so powerful, killing the pilots and taking the looted gundams, mechs and titan back home along with a surprise.
