Imposter Syndrome II

Walter, still posing as AJ, quickly formulated a plan. He knew he had to act fast and cleverly to ensure Candy didn't suspect anything. He pulled out the iBod, pretending to be engrossed in a message, and said aloud, "Mom, can you come here for a sec? I need your help with something."

Candy, ever the obliging mother, walked into AJ's room. "What do you need, sweetie?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

Walter looked up from the iBod, his expression serious. "I found this really cool app that lets you scan stuff and turn it into 3D models. It's for a school project, and I need to scan something big. Do you mind if I scan you?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady and sounding as much like a teenager as possible.

Candy tilted her head, a confused but amused expression on her face. "Scan me? Like one of those full-body scans?" she asked, chuckling softly.

Walter nodded, doing his best to suppress a smile. "Yeah, it's for an art project. The teacher wants us to scan something meaningful to us, and I thought of you."

Candy blushed slightly at the thought. "Well, okay then. Let's do this," she said, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and pride.

Walter now used the iBod. As he activated it, and a soft hum filled the room as the device began to scan Candy. She stood there, looking slightly awkward but cooperative, as the machine worked its magic.

Meanwhile, AJ the boxer shorts grumbled softly, "This better work, or I'm going to be really mad about this erection situation."

Walter finished the scan, the device letting out a soft chime to indicate completion. He turned to Candy, who was still standing there, looking somewhat puzzled. "Okay, that's done. Thanks, Mom," he said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Candy smiled, clearly pleased to have helped her son with his project. "No problem, sweetie. I'm glad I could—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Walter activated another function of the iBod, and a soft glow enveloped her. She let out a gasp of surprise as her form began to shift and change.
