Chapter 28 by ledergmayne1

Which Path do you go Down?

Imitation, Something, Flattery

An unfamiliar beast was before you, a creature unlike your previous form. Dark green scales covered its body with what seemed to be the occasional emerald scale. Its body looked slightly bigger, more ferocious, almost like an actual True Dragon. Yet there was something different about it, too small to be considered an "Adult" Lung Dragon, too many developed features to be considered a "Young" Lung Dragon. When they told you that your size would remain roughly the same, they did not lie, standing at about 5 feet tall when you stood straight on your hind legs. From head to tail, you estimated that you were about a good 8 feet though. You inspected the reflection closely, making sure to take in every single minute detail, from the shape of your larger jaw to the way your two horns split slightly at the middle to give it two tips on each horn. Touching your face, you realised that there was what seems to be some kind of fur or hair that was forming a mane around your neck. The two pathetic stubby excuses for whiskers have gained quite the length as it now falls past to your shoulder level. The same kind of spiky hair or fur lines your spine all the way down to your tail, forming a brush at the tip. There was also some of that fur on what you can consider your ankles. If there was a use for this, you had no idea what it was.

Definitely not anything that some may consider a True Dragon, you were much too small. Although, you felt just as powerful when you tried to perceive your vacant surroundings, sensing the natural magic in the air and the earth. Those were now two things that you could manipulate to your will. Actually, you felt like you could control some of those Emeralds from the cave too. This new form has provided you with a greater affinity for magic, which while not as good as Slazar's, will most definitely prove useful. It did suck to lose your wings though, it meant that you would have to constantly spend mana if you wished to fly instead of just using some stamina to take off and then glide most of the way. If it was any consolation though, you felt the poison bubbling in your throat, you could most definitely fire projectiles now. Glancing back down to the river, you opened your mouth to see what new organ was there that let you fire blasts of poison. It was pretty dark and you think that it was a little too deep inside your throat or stomach to be seen. Nevermind then, you could just spend the remaining time in your dream admiring your new form. As you lowered your face closer to the river, the water began to ripple, distorting your reflection. You squinted at this sudden turn of events, only for your eyes to shoot wide open as a woman's face is seen beneath the liquid.

Floating gracefully backwards, you did not know you were already capable of that, you prepared to fire a poison spray at whatever that was. The flowery scent still lingered. Nothing happened at first as you swayed apprehensively on the spot, it felt like an eternity when it finally made a move as a single hand burst out of the water. It flicked its fingers for a moment, only to be followed by a second hand, then a head, then her upper body, wow she has nice tits, then finally, her full body. It was hard to decipher what exactly she was, she looked humanoid however she had a strange blinding glow about her. In fact, it was literally blinding you! Molding the earth around you, a mud wall was constructed to shield your eyes from this alluring creature. You felt that there was some irony in using the element you were weakest against to your advantage but it does not matter now. Blinking your eyes repeatedly, you could feel your vision returning to you, whatever it was could not be looked at directly. You could not make it out properly, however she seemed to have pink skin and a hair colour similar to that of a peach. Her beauty was so very evident, it was blinding. You were not really sure how to approach this situation, you did not have blindsense yet since you were not a True Dragon. Was she the cause of the flowery scent you were taking in? It had gotten stronger since her arrival.

"You, lesser being, shall suffer for what you did to my daughter." The creature claimed calmly before the blinding light that radiated from her dissipated from the edge of your wall. Had she just left? You were too afraid to peak over towards her, so you opted to give your breath weapon a test run. Taking a step back, your maw opened to its maximum gape and you unleashed a long spray of green liquid from your mouth. As you were doing so, you could not help but notice that a hand had punched right through your dirt wall and was feeling around the wall for you. She definitely had pink skin, with properly cared for pink nails that scratched about the wall without any damage to her body. What was she? Closing your jaw, you lunged forward to the **** hand and bit down upon her. You shook about and tried to pull it off, it hurt to have to kill such a beauty but she was clearly too dangerous to let live. Imagine your shock when she begins to pull you against the wall. You thrash about tryin to resist her strength, even with your ascension she seems to outclass you. Finally, she pulls on your tongue and you cleanly break through the makeshift shield. Your eyes are unshielded and you are face to face with her.

You close your eyes as quickly as possible to avoid going blind again but even with that, the radiating light seems to pierce through your eyelids. You attempt to release your grip on her but this just leaves you dangling from your tongue. She is unphased by your poison and moves her other hand to grip your oversized throat. This act forces your eyelids to part and take in the magical lights coming from the humanoid. You manage to see her mouth move and an angelic voice filled with utter malice is heard. "In the name of all Nymph and Fey, if you ever show your face in Fandir, we shall personally see to your hunt and execution Lizard," the Nymph declares before squeezing hard on your gullet. Your eyes go wide as the last thing you see is the blinding pink light of the Nymph and the sickening crunch of your own throat.

Shooting up from your lovely thigh bed, you scan the immediate vicinity for the pink Nymph. Nancy was fast asleep against the tree while Slazar was tending to the horses with a brush. Nothing out of the ordinary. That **** had felt so real and yet here you were, alive and still at the tenth level. It was odd though, you pat yourself down to check for any damage on your body. The alterations to your body did not stick despite choosing your ascension. What was it now? That was when you recoiled from the appearance of a sudden pop-up with the words "Quest Accepted". Tapping it, you opened a bigger sheet which seemingly explained what exactly you had just accepted. From a quick glance, Ascension was not something that occurred immediately or overnight, rather it required the completion of a quest. Thankfully, yours looked to be a simple affair. Collect and consume fifty Zephyr Mushrooms as well as the swift termination of five Firehawks. Alright well it was more complicated since it involved Firehawks and the kinds of mushroom that were only found in high up places. You furrow your hairless brow at this request, did you really need to do this much work just to Ascend? At the very least, the items were inside of your zone, so you could ascend without having to travel too far. Making your way to the horses, you showed Slazar the Quest Tab. He gives it a quick read before shooting you an understanding nod.

You had postponed the breaching of the barrier to a later date, Ascending would come first. It was always better to be prepared after all. The gathering of the mushrooms was rather simple, the Emerald Serpent's cave was connected to a hill that was high enough to grow them. The only issue was that it took a long time to scrounge up all the resources as Zephyr mushrooms were sparse and grew far apart from one another. Their windy nature lets them disperse spores great distances and all throughout the hill. Not to mention the amount of times when one of you would miss a step and fall all the way back down the hill. Cuts and bruises were plenty at the end of the first day. As you were foraging, you noticed that there was also a lone hut at the top of the hill. You would notice figures moving in and out of there every now and again, however you decided against getting any closer. It would be better to prepare for absolutely everything before going along with any new adventure that just so happens to appear. Which meant getting these confounded mushrooms.

By the time you were both done, two days had passed since you began the search. You were busy tending to your latest wound as you laid on your captive woman. Your arms hugged your tail which had recently gotten smashed under a falling rock when you decided to try and reach a precariously placed mushroom. While Slazar's healing magic was able to return it to tip top shape, the pain of such wounds would linger slightly. Blowing on your tail, you snuggled up against your humanoid pillow as Slazar approached you with a large bundle of mushrooms neatly wrapped together with a strap of vine. They had been properly prepared and were ready for your digestive system, whatever that meant. Slazar uses many difficult words but you think it is just for show, what would a kobold know about science and how the body works? Not to mention how every single species and race had some unique property to their bodies. Sniffing at the hand extended out towards you, an earthy scent filled your nostrils. Hopefully, these mushrooms tasted as good as they smelled. You got up off of Nancy and received the bundle, eager to get this over with. All you had to do was just consume fifty of these, not sure exactly how that would let you ascend but who are you to argue with the Quest Tab?

An unforseen mistake that was, cramming all fifty of those Zephyr Mushrooms into your gullet. You knew that under normal circumstances, eating them would just blow a slight gust of wind from below you. Many an unwitting deer getting a slight shock when consuming these mushrooms. Nothing too dangerous. However, you have never tried them yourself, let alone fifty of them at the same time. You would come to regret your rash decision almost immediately. In a blink of an eye, you were gone from Slazar's view, having been blasted upwards at such speeds that would surely kill any normal creature. The last thing you recalled was the oddly meaty and mildly umami taste of the mushroom on your tongue. The next thing you knew, you were being sent upwards, smashing past the Grand Tree's leaves and towards the sky at lightning speeds. You kept going and going, past the clouds and into the blue sky above. Wow, who knew the world was so beautiful from this vantage point? You could see past some of the clouds towards the two nearby cities closest to your forest. Was that a another village far over there? Oh and that huge mass of water must be the ocean! What a lovely sneak preview for what you will be seeing once you ascend, truly excellent how many places there would be for you to conquer or at the very least sabota- you finally hit something. Oh dear, that was the barrier that surrounded your zone was it not? You braced yourself for a second time as you are deflected and sent barrelling downwards towards the ground.

In an effort to soften the impact, you spread your wings apart as much as it could stretch to resist the push of air resistance. You could feel your lips get pulled back from the **** of the wind blowing against you. Hopefully this was more than enough to keep you alive. Why did nothing ever seem to go your way? As long as you did not turn into paste against the ground, Slazar could heal you. You closed your eyes and prayed for the best...

The first thing you hear upon waking up is the soft breathing of Slazar, the poor thing was laying his head against your motionless form. The dark surroundings let you know it was about midnight. You tried to move your body but it seemed like you were covered in a makeshift cast that consisted of vines and leaves. Damn, you got messed up that bad huh? At least you were alive. Opening up your Quest Sheet, you see that you have indeed completed the fifty Zephyr Mushrooms objective. All that remained were those damned Firehawks, mischievious birds that spat fire on the local residents of this forest. They would come by every now and again as they apparently migrated about this continent. You had dealt with them before, while smaller than you, their flaming breath attack and sheer numbers have been able to end your run many times. You recall only catching one or two of them off guard by sneaking up on a lone Firehawk, perhaps one that was cast out from the flock. Closing your Quest Sheet, you look towards the Grand Tree. It seems to have gotten a slight shave from where you lifted off into the air, that would not do. You also notice a large hole in the ground near the tree, no doubt where you crash landed. Once you ascend, you will have to be extra careful to not repeat this flight experience again.

How many days have you been knocked out? Staying asleep for that long cannot be good for your brain right? You can ask Slazar that once he awakens. For now, you decided to just lay backwards and rest even if you could not return to sleep. As you laid there, your mind drifted to the list of pending tasks in your agenda, from most important to least. Ascending to the next level was first and foremost, which meant Firehawk hunting. Then you would have to figure out how Slazar planned to get you through the barrier. There was also the two cities nearby for you to have tons of fun in, there would obviously be plenty of women of all shapes and sizes to sample, along with finding the two women that you had already impregnated. You had technically still not accepted Slazar's whole Dragon Mistress Quest, you noticed it when looking through your Quest Tab to find the Ascension mission. Best to just get that over with, all she needed was an heir or whatever Slazar was yapping about. Charon was still a potential threat that you would have to look out for every end of the month. The Emerald Serpent was also a potential threat considering she now knew you existed. Though you doubt she can pose that much of an issue considering you will soon outclass her in every way besides size. On the topic of the Emerald Serpent, there was also that small hut on the top of her hill, maybe you should check that out before breaching the Zone Barrier? At the end of the day, you would have to get stronger and figure out how to properly communicate your intentions besides grunting and gesturing.

As you laid there, you realised something that had not come up until now. Wait just a minute, you realised that while all of this was extremely crucial to your main goal of becoming a Grand Dragon King, you had missed out on the most important detail. Who exactly was going to watch over your Lair while you were gone? You assumed Slazar would be coming with you, he had way too much utility to leave here. There was not really anyone else in this forest that you trusted enough to consider an ally, especially when you needed them to guard your women and goods. A good dragon needs loyal subjects and minions to deal with the grunt work. There was also the issue that your lair was in the open and close enough to the main road for Adventurers to randomly stumble upon. Should you move? If so where? There was the odd cave here and there but the likelihood of some Hero running into you Lair was still there. You were not even sure if you could move the place you called home considering this is where you always end up whenever you died. With how things are turning out, you would probably have to come back to your Lair every few days should you decide to go out hunting. Should not be too much of an issue considering you would soon be able to fly, however a flying green tube in the sky would definitely attract attention. This place was also safe from the Blood Moon Monsters, they never seem to enter this general vicinity. That was the single most important factor.

Hmm, you wondered how the Emerald Serpent deals with the Blood Moon? She can probably seal her cave off with the crystals she produces or something like that. On the topic of the Emerald Serpent, instead of anything organic, she had created her own minions in the form of the Emerald Golems. Perhaps she had the right idea there, have too many minions with free will and the likelihood of a revolt occurring increases. Not to mention the greater difficulty in controlling so many creatures that are free to think and act. One or two will definitely leech treasure and resources from you or try and touch your women behind your back. Perhaps once you master magic, you could have something similar, mindless constructs made to do a simple task and do it well. No potential for betrayal there, maybe this was the solution to undefended Lair problem. Just have your own golems taking care of the place whenever you leave. They could probably be told to do simple tasks like patrolling or tending to chores which would definitely free up Slazar for more pressing matters. While you were busy getting your facts straight and formulating plans to solve your current issues, you noticed the small kobold begin to stir against you. He had just awoken it seems and had definitely notice that you were awake.

"Ah Master Dragon! You're finally awake! When you smashed into the ground, I was sure I would have to start over again. With how your bones were sticking out, Slazar is honestly impressed you lived even with my Spare the Dying Cantrip," the young kobold excitedly exclaimed as he got up to check on your condition. He continued, "the lady howled with laughter and claimed you were going to die, but Slazar knew otherwise! That is why I tried to heal you the best I could! Although it took a few days, you should be fit for combat again." Well, that confirms it, you were out of commission for a while and that would be plenty of time for more Heroes to come and smoke you out. You needed to ascend to greater strength and it had to happen soon, otherwise these Heroes will overwhelm you with sheer numbers. Hopefully those Firehawks understand that whatever you were going to do, it was not personal. Probably. But first, we wait for daylight.

(Fifteen days to the next Blood Moon)

The golden rays of morning shone through the treeline, signalling the start of a new day. Distant birds could be seen traversing the skies in the distant, whether they were Firehawks was unknown. You stared at the blurry forms that dotted the skies, that would be you soon, all you had to do was be patient. Slazar had just finished removing the leaves and vines from your body. From his reaction to seeing you right now, your injuries from the fall previously must have been pretty bad. You give yourself a once-over, nothing out of the ordinary. Stretching, you felt your bones crack and snap back into place, they were pretty sore from your inactivity and injury. More importantly, your friend downstairs is aching from disuse. Heading over to the Grand Tree, you decided that your captive should make herself useful and please the Dragon that owns her. Every time Slazar would walk off from the Lair to deal with the horses or gather some materials, you would have Nancy work on pleasing you to her absolute dismay. Between each gag and moan, she would attempt to insult you by mockingly bringing up your devastating fall. Only to be quickly silenced with a mouth full of cock. When you were finished, she was panting heavily with a mouth full of your seed, yet you still wanted more. Maybe that house on the hill or the Firehawks will be able to compensate for how pent up you were. For now, you would have to settle for a quick blowjob every now and again. You got yourself ready for the day as Slazar finished up the last of the morning chores. Once that was over, the two of you began to explore the forest.

With how many times those birds would always pepper you with bullets of ember, you thought you would have ran into a few by now. Slazar's eyes were droopy with weariness as he scanned the treeline for any red or orange. Talons digging into bark, you heaved yourself up another tree to get a better vantage point. You were sure that they would be hidden up in the trees along the main road, never missing the opportunity to harrass the travellers that used it. Mischievious bastards they were. No matter how hard you tried, the two of you just could not find anything resembling the bird or a nest of some kind. You would get suspicious glares from the normal bird residents that perched high up, the occasional sparrow or owl pecking at you for getting too close to their nest. Finally, after a day of searching, you had to call it off and return to your Lair. It was odd, whenever you wished to be left alone, they would always be there to ruin your day. Now that you actually wanted to find one, there was barely a soul in sight. More likely to run into a bear or wolf you were, not that they would prove much danger now that you were stronger.

This went on for a total of five days, a quick search through the forest before camping along the main road. Nary a squawk nor the flap of burning wings. During that time, Heroes and NPCs would pass by, although you wisely decided against attacking them. You were trying to keep a low profile until you ascended, there was no need to further agitate the denizens of the two cities. An occasionaly bear or wolf would be on the prowl, chasing down a deer or boar, though you paid them no mind unless they decided you looked like easy prey. All that action and still no sign of a Firehawk, when exactly did they decide to migrate? Was there a set pattern or did they just come and go whenever they felt like it? While they looked similar to a pheonix, they were in no way related to that legendary of a mythical creature. They were exactly as their title described them, a bird that just so happens to bear feathers of flame and spit fire. You were sure you could take at least five of them, their strength came from their numbers, not their actual skills or power. They would not hesitate to harrass you, so they honestly had this coming. If you could find them of course. At the end of the fifth day, you decided to call it a day and were just about to return home after a long day of absolutely nothing. Slazar had already returned earlier to deal with the horse issue again, the stallions were acting up often.

As you slung your satchel around your neck, you suddenly felt an all too familiar blast of heat hit your back. They sure took their sweet time. Without flinching, you leapt forwards and turned to face your assailant. There they were, with their signature flowing feathers wreathed in orange and red. The main and largest one with its mouth open was obviously the one that had just shot a mini fireball at you. The rest of its posse seemed to be snickering at your pain, they would all get their due soon. Your eyes darted about as you scanned the treeline, you counted a total of maybe six? Slazar was not here, so you would have to make do solo. That was fine, you were on a winning streak, nothing could stop you now, especially not some bratty birds. Quickly scaling the tree next to you, the birds immediately decided to disperse into the sky, forcing you stop in your tracks. Right, they could fly... Dangling from a branch, you tried swinging yourself towards one of the hawks that begun to swoop down towards you. Claws outstretched, you tried to swipe at it, only to barely miss as it ducked underneath your attack and slash at you with its talons. You quickly recovered though, latching onto a trunk before you. The cut barely broke through your skin, it seems like they will not be able to hurt you. Of course, you would not be able to hit them either. There had to be some way to tip the tides in your favour.

They had their close range swoop in attacks and a long ranged fire ball with decent accuracy. You only had close ranged attacks. It was obvious that you were at a disadvantage but there was still a fighting chance. If you could bait in a melee attack from the bird, you could try and counter them before they flew off. Moving to a higher altitude, you broke through the treetops to get a better view of your foes. They were circling above you, spraying you with a blast of flame every now and again, easily dodged. Although you failed to notice that the flames had begun to spread over the leaves, cutting off your potential footing. Finally, one of the fools decided to swoop down and pierce you from the back. You barely realised what was occurring behind you, leaping out of the way and snatching the hawk by its right wing as it flew by. With a twirl, you tossed it towards another one of its compatriots, knocking the two of them out of the sky and sending them crashing towards the forest floor below. Two down, four to go. The flames roared around you, having grown to great size while you were distracted. With a single powerful jump, you leapt downwards, better to stay low to the ground lest you inhale too much smoke. As you did so, three of the Firehawks follow you downwards, eager to set you ablaze with their flames. You expected this though, stopping halfway down and turning to smack all three of them out of the air with your tail.

You send two of them flying into the nearby trees, smashing them against it. The final one is sent flying into a bush which had managed to cushion its fall. In a fit of rage, the bush Firehawk exploded into a blaze of fury, burning up the bush and charging towards you as you landed. Motioning your hand in a waving motion infront of you, the earth before you is elevated, much like what you had done in your dream. Miraculously, a mud wall was constructed before you to shield from the flaming charge of the Firehawk. A sickening yet comical crunch is heard as the Firehawk smashes into your dirt construct, guess the earth element was not so bad when you can manipulate it. The forest all around you was burning, not a complete blaze but the flame was definitely strong enough to hurt quite badly if you got close. If only you were smarter, a rain spell would put out the flames and would have tipped the scales more readily in your favour during that fight. Well, the forest was rather moist, the flames will probably only burn in this general area for a while. Your Lair was further away from this part of the main road anyways, the likelihood that it burns down your home was low. As you turned to look for the final Firehawk, a message prompt appeared to let you know that your Ascension Quest was finished. That was great and all, you thought as you moved your hand to close the message, but you are once again hit with flames against your back. There was clearly still one enemy left, this large one liked playing dirty it seems.

Turning to face the final Firehawk, it perched itself on a relatively unscorched branch high up in the trees. Black clouds coloured the sky while droplets of water began to fall from the heavens as you stared eachother down. Seems like you would no longer require a rain spell. You could not return to your lair now, lest you give this one the knowledge of where you lived. It could come back with more hawks and burn down your home while you were away. This forest was going to be yours, it was time to show these trickster fools who was the new Poison King of the forest. Walking forward, your approach spooks the bird, causing it to fly off in a panic towards the direction of the Emerald Serpent's cave. Giving chase, you followed it across the main road and into the other side of the forest.

It was odd, the Firehawk could easily outpace you due to its ability to fly, yet it would stop every now and again to ensure you were still following it. Was it leading you to a trap? Perhaps it was having difficulty flying in the rain, it would make sense if water was the element it was weakest to. If only either of you were smart enough to call it quits. No matter, you followed the darned bird all the way up the hill, passing by the Emerald Serpent's cave. It was there when you realised your great error. As you were climbing up, the Firehawk was circling above you, teasing you, egging you on. When you finally reached the edge of the cliff, it swooped down and began to peck on your fingers, attempting to **** you off the side. You bit at it in an effort to scare the bastard off, yet it was unphased, this one had more heart than the other fools at least. To anyone else watching from afar, the scene before them would have been rather hilarious. To you however, you were fighting for your life as you tried not to fall off, having already taken quite a beating from fall damage before all this.

Stretching out your wings, you prepared to cushion your fall, this bird was stubborn enough to actually **** your hands to losen their grip. You fell backwards, readying yourself for the worst as the Firehawk stared down at you in sadistic satisfaction. It was then when a loud bang was heard all throughout the forest. Not from when you made contact with the ground, rather it was closer to that of a rifle shot. One moment, the Firehawk was standing proud along the cliff edge, a victorious moment for all cretins. The next moment, it was sent plummeting off the side and towards you. It crashed into you, which seemingly helped to cushion its fall. Though you did not let such an opportunity pass you by, grasping the helpless chicken by the throat as you got back up onto your feet. It squawked and struggled in your grip as you inspected it, ensuring your fingers tightly closed around its throat to prevent any flaming globules of spit. There was an entry and exit wound with blood pouring profusely out of it, the damned bird had been shot by a gun. Glancing up towards the spot from where the Firehawk fell from, you saw it, a hooded figure in brown holding a rifle of some sorts. It was hard to make out what exactly it was, the rain and dark lighting helped to cover up the person's identity.

Who exactly is going out hunting this late and while it was raining no less? Well a Hero would obviously do exactly that, there was probably some rare item drop that could only be found when it rained exactly at this hour. The two of you stared eachother down for a what felt like an eternity, before the figure turned and disappeared from your sight, leaving you alone with your **** chicken. What was that about? A Hero would have jumped at the opportunity to fight a Dragon such as yourself, the loot drop would be insane. Why would they just leave? You contemplated investigating further but your vision was terrible in this weather and you were alone. Thus, you decided it was safer to head back, turning your attention to the bird in your grasp. This one had given you the most trouble and would have hurt you pretty badly if it were not for the intervention of the hooded figure. To kill the thing would be such a waste though, it barely provided you any experience at this point. You had a better idea, let us make it suffer for its transgressions as punishment. Now would be the best time to do it, the rain was weakening its flaming effect and it was too badly injured to resist. Picking up a nearby branch, you shoved it into the bird's mouth to ignite it. Once that occurred, you poked the hot stick against the open wound to seal it shut through cauterization, forcing it to yelp out loud in pain. Once that was done, you rubbed a single finger against the bird and attempted to feel about its rear to check for its gender. Did birds even have penises?

As you tapped about the Firehawk, eliciting an odd squawk here and there, you accidentally opened up its character sheet. Huh, guess weaker creeps like these had them too. You gave it a quick read but soon found that there was barely any information on them. Did you have to read a book or something, why was all the information always empty or just a bunch of question marks? At the very least you got its title, "Firehawk#88785 Level 3 Firehawk (Creep)", coloured in white. What was that name and why did they decide to repeat Firehawk twice? The gods that created this world seriously had a poor sense of humour if this was suppose to be some kind of joke. You skimmed through the remaining details shown to you and found that the bird was indeed female, though you only found one hole on her body. Well whatever, you were trying to punish the thing, not get her pregnant, not like it would even work considering you two were so different. Although... you did manage to get some humanoids pregnant. Was it something that most dragons could do normally? You knew that most dragons could interbreed with just about anything due to their ability to Shapechange. Well, not that it should concern you considering you can barely even cast magic. It was time to get to work anyways. You were already extremely backed up as of late due to the hunt for these birds in the first place.

Slamming the Firehawk into the mud below, you held her in place with one powerful arm as her flaming feathers are smothered by the wet dirt. Good, we do not want her trying to resist by burning you now. She could do nothing but breathlessly chirp after having the wind knocked out of her by a superior male. For the sin of annoying you slightly, she shall be ravaged beyond repair, no other Firehawk will be able to please her once you were through with her. Gently scratching at your crotch, you coaxed your little friend out of its sheathe. Well it probably did not look very little to her, the Firehawk's beak and eyes were wide opened at the mere sight of it looming over her. She was about two feet tall from head to tail, though her actual torso size was probably around one feet. Your penis was a little over half of her torso, the lingering question of whether you could even fit all of yourself into her was at the back of both of your minds. No matter, you would just have to make it fit then.

You brought both of your hands onto each of the Firehawk's wings and held her still. Her talons would try and scratch at you to little effect, barely even scratching the surface of your skin. You leaned over her slightly as you positioned yourself better for the inevitable, before you began prodding at her entrance with your tip. She had a fearful expression on her bird face, most definitely unsure if she would even survive this ordeal. That was the least of her worries though, if she died, she would just respawn good as new. If she lived though, you bet the sores and aches in her core would last for months after you were done. Not that you really cared. With that, you bucked your hips forward, splaying the smaller creature wide open upon your cock. She shrieked a horrible sound, similar to a bird's but with a hint of something burning behind it. Damn, you barely even entered her and you felt that you could no longer go any deeper. The tightness was unreal, she was definitely not made for penetrating, yet you did not care. Only one-fifth of your member was in her, that would not do, she was going to take all of you or die trying. Moving your hands from her wings, you instead grasped at her small hips, easily wrapping your fingers almost fully around it. She gives you one last pleading glance before closing them in preparation for what was to come.

You thrusted your hip forward as you pulled the bird closer towards you at the same time, this sudden motion forces her to screech out in pain. She arches her back as you only manage to get halfway into her, you could tell because you could see your cock bulging through her. Her screeching is cut off as you push forward again all while holding her in place, replaced by her pained gasps for air. Her walls clamped down hard on you, **** to push you out, yet you remained inside. The sensation was unlike anything you have felt before, the previous holes you have had were pretty tight, but this one was ridiculously so. It pretty much bordered on pain, you would simply have to expand it for her. Slowly pulling out, ensuring she felt the sensation of each and every barb, you moved until only your tip remained in her. Once her ragged breathing returned to some form of normality, you pull her towards you with all your strength as your surged your pelvis forward violently. In one swift motion, you finally manage to cram the entire length into her. You felt her insides move about to try and accomodate the new mass inside of her as the vice grip of her walls threatened to chop your dick right off. The bird had stopped making any proper noises at this point, merely letting out an ached whine every now and again.

Your breathing was also ragged at this point, you had not expected that hurting this bird with you cock would be so much fun. And tiring. You could practically feel her heart beating softly against your cock, it was quite an odd feeling to be massaged by the rythmic beat. Now that you were able to fully hilt yourself, you could really have your fun. Gently, you began to remove yourself from within her, giving her some sort of reprieve. Only to take it away almost immediately as you slammed forward once again when your tip is barely out of her. She seemed resigned to her fate, whether out of apathy or her brain ceasing any function to stop her from dying due to shock. Whatever works for you anyways, you were solely focused on your own pleasure as you aggressively pistoned in and out of her at great speeds. It was like having your own personal fleshlight, one that was alive and could feel each and every barb pull at her. The thought was enough to send you into overdrive as the two of you must have realised by now that this bird was completely and utterly ruined by you. If she lived, no male Firehawk would be able to please her loose hole, not like any of them would want used goods in the first place. Grunting under the pressure surrounding your cock, you finally stopped deep inside of her, going as far as you could possibly shove your cock in.

Little Miss Firehawk Number Eighty-Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred and Eighty Five could only meekly look up towards you in confusion before she realised what you were about to do. She began to thrash about in order to get you out, however your iron grip on her hips remained. Sorry Pretty Bird, there was no escaping what was to come next, and cum you did. The Firehawk seemed to orgasm herself, forming your lips into a devious smirk which filled her with as much dread as the seed you released into her womb. Burst after burst of unending semen poured into her as you released about five days worth of cum that you had been saving for whatever unfortunate soul crossed your path. You had expected it to be a humanoid of course, but this bird had just given you an experience you do not think you will ever feel again. Was laying with an almost feral creature that would definitely gather an entire small army worth of Firehawks to claim vengeance against you worth it? If they were as tight as her? Definitely.

The two of you stayed there motionless as both of your orgasms began to settle down. The only only sound was the droplets hitting the ground all around you. She was silent by then, Her stomach had bloated to twice its size, your bulge barely noticeable anymore under her cum bloated belly. You could have pulled out by now, but you were extremely curious. Your seed was virile enough to get humanoid women pregnant, could it have been possible for...? And then, a timer appeared over her. The two of you stared up at it in shock. Holy shit, could dragons breed literally anything or something? There it was, a timer for a hundred and twenty hours, one with the label of "successful impregnation". Why was it longer for her, were humanoids more susceptible to dragon sperm? Or was it longer because you had just finished crushing her tiny insides with your comparatively massive cock. Did the level of the creature affect it? Your body was as different from her as it was different from a humanoid, so why was the timing on this longer? Seriously, who made this impregnation system and what exactly were they high on? Well no matter, you had blasted her with so much semen that your seed would probably take if you just kept your cock inside of her for the full... five days? Gingerly, you picked up your latest conquest, all the while ensuring she remained impaled upon your rod. You figured it was best to not take any chances, better to slowly bring her back to your lair while you kept her penetrated.

The walk back to your lair took a long while, you could say it was because you were tired but really you just wanted to savour the poor hole beneath you. You were basically walking on three legs while the last one held the bird close to your groin, ensuring she did not fall off as you made your way home. The forest was gloomy and moist as the sun was setting, although you could barely see it behind the rain clouds. You could feel your seed sloshing about as her insides were rather slimy with both of your fluids, it definitely fit snugly around your member though. A feeling of grim satisfaction washed over you, this bird had basically been reshaped to fit your cock and only your cock alone. You should get Slazar to heal her, it would be quite the accomplishment if she managed to carry it to term, whatever it was. Although you probably would have to risk a "potential impregnation" instead since you would not be able to keep your dick stuffed in her with the Kobold around. There was also the slight issue of Slazar figuring out what you have been doing which would be problematic for his Dragon Mistress plan. Although, you realised after all this time, you could just... close the "successful impregnation" pop-up. Now the only way for him to learn of your misdeeds is if he goes out of his way to open up the bird's statsheet for some reason and finds the timer in there. You could have saved yourself alot of trouble if you knew that sooner but at least you knew now.

Speaking of lingering pop-ups, the Ascension Quest completion prompt was still present. As you got closer to your lair, you pried the snoozing Firehawk off and carried her under one arm and tapped on the prompt. Giving it a quick read, you found that you could now ascend at any time, all you had to do was enter the Ascension Tree from your own character sheet and click the "Ascend" button next to the Imitation Lung Dragon. Well, might as well do it when you have an audience, you thought as you tapped on the Firehawk to open up her sheet as well. Well that was annoying, it had only been a minute but the timer went from "successful impregnation" to "potential impregnation", you would have to stay penetrated for five days or it would probably cut the timer off. As you lugged the bird along towards your lair, you tried your best to stuff her used cunt with some leaves to keep your semen inside her. Hopefully it actually lasts long enough to have a chance at knocking her up, at least until the five days timer is up. Entering the empty space between the trees that constitutes your lair, you found Slazar tirelessly grooming one of the horses. He does not notice your form at first, thus you decide to show yourself to him in the most fashionable manner possible. With a running start, you leap and "gracefully" glide towards him, nearly smashing face first into a nearby tree. This earns you a look of confusion from him, his mouth ajar and about to question you, only to notice the Firehawk in your hands. He squints his eyes slightly before realising that you had finally dealt with the Firehawk issue, a gleeful grin is slapped right across his face as he begins to perform a celebratory dance at the prospects of your Ascension final occurring.

Gathering all in attendance before the Grand Tree, Slazar begins to recite some odd ritual that he was taught to do back in his old home. To the audience of exactly two people, one being a sleeping bird and the other being a bored to **** Half Nymph, Slazar officially acknowledges your growing power and worth. Ignoring him for a second, you quickly open up your Ascension Path tab and quickly press the "Ascend" button now that you have witnesses to your Ascension. Nothing seems to happen at first, Slazar just stares at you in awkward silence. That is when it suddenly hits you. Your body is engulfed in a mix of pink and purple light as your body begins to glow a yellowish white. These colours are enough to brighten the moody skies of light rain. Rapid changes begin to occur all throughout your body as you feel yourself get stronger, slightly larger. Slazar stumbles back into the Grand Tree in surprise at the sudden lights, before respectfully standing at attention. In the mean time, Nancy is in the background but even from here you could make out the sudden terror on her face. The sensation of your body rearranging itself and losing your wings is unbearable. Your cries of pain is muffled as the pink and purple light coalesces around into a shell that surrounds you, before shattering into a thousand pieces and revealing your new form underneath. The new power within you is overwhelming as the magic radiating from your being disturbs the wind, even more than the rainy weather already has. Poisonous spit spills from your mouth as you unleash a mighty roar that deafened the whole forest, silencing even the rain for that split second.

Your eyes are tired, it feels like you were asleep this whole time, yet your body is strained with weariness only possible from extended periods of non-stop action. You finally begin to regain your senses after the Ascension and the first realisation that hits you is that Slazar must have shrunk. Actually everything looks much smaller than before... Did you get taller? Checking out your new features, you realise that you actually got longer instead, in fact, your features are similar to that of the body in your dream. The dream where you got your throat smashed by some crazy Fey lady... Slazar gives you a round of applause before awkwardly realising that he was the only one clapping, to which he simply returns to his chores. Nancy, gives you an uneasy look before breaking eye contact and staring at the ground. You also have Slazar pick up the Firehawk and tie her down to the Grand Tree, this will surely not backfire. If only you were smarter huh? Now that you have completed the primary goal of Ascending, it was finally time to breach the barrier that attempted to contain you, Tomorrow.

(Ten days to the next Blood Moon)

How goes the Barrier Breaching?
