IQ drain

A mutant with a truly terrifying ability. An ability to control others' intelligence. Though it's not an ability that functions the same as regular telepathy. It instead works more like a constant invisible **** field around the user. This **** field slowly lowers the intelligence of anybody caught in it. The user can dampen or speed up the effects if they so choose. If they choose to dampen it, they can make it so it only drains a person's IQ to a certain level. You might not go full bimbo, but you won't be as quick or sharp as you usually are. You can pretty much guess what happens if you speed it up. You go from average intellect to drooling moron in a matter of seconds. The user can also choose to dampen their powers to such a degree that it won't affect anyone around them. Though this does take a lot of focus and strain on the user.

The effects of the IQ drain can be counteracted if a person is removed from the **** field's area of effect. But depending on how long they were in there and how low their IQ sunk, the time for recovery may vary.

Tough, if the user chooses to zero in on a specific individual and increase the **** on them specifically, then any damage caused will become basically unrepairable.

It is an extremely powerful and dangerous mutant gift that could cause **** damage if in the wrong hands.
