Bessie looked at him and smiled. A few seconds later, she snapped and replied, "What are you talking about? Aren't you already dating the Miss Universe candidate from your class at your university? You were bragging so much about her before, like how you fell in love with her, asked her out two days ago, she reluctantly agreed, and then-"
John felt something wrong, so he hurriedly stopped Bessie.
"Stop, don't say it aloud. Yes, I am stupid for forgetting it. I remember my girlfriend, Katie. God, I don't know why I would say that."
"Hehe. Yeah, that is true. But I still remember telling me how you both fell in love."
"Did I tell you that?"
"Yes, when you were drunk, yesterday, you told me that..."
