I'm not saying she is a gold digger.

The guild girl, without a doubt, was perfection. You thought to yourself as you made your way over to the counter to introduce yourself. Her welcoming smile was warm, yet there was an air of aloofness in her eyes that you couldn't quite place. As you approached, she leaned slightly forward, emphasizing her cleavage and making it clear she knew exactly the effect she had on people.

"Hello there," she greeted, her voice smooth and inviting. "How can I assist you today?"

"Yes, I'm new to this town and guild and looking to work here for a while," you reply, giving her a gentle smile. "Also, maybe you can give me the rundown of the place and area," you add.

Her eyes briefly scan you up and down, assessing you before her smile widens. "Of course, I'd be happy to help," she says, her voice dripping with sweetness. "Welcome to our guild! This guild may not be the most reputable or high-end guild, but you'll find no shortage of work here. If you're willing to put in the effort." There was a hint of snark in her tone, but her smile remained unwavering. "We handle all sorts of quests and tasks, from simple deliveries to hunts and subjugations."

"Monster subjugation, those will definitely be fun," you respond with a hint of excitement.

"Yes, those kinds, too," she replies, her smile never faltering.

You blink, staring at her, momentarily questioning what she meant by that but ultimately brushing it off.

She leans forward slightly, emphasizing her cleavage, and continues, "If you're interested in monster subjugation, you'll need to fill out some paperwork first. Just basic information for our records, you know." She hands you a stack of forms, her fingers lightly brushing against yours. "We take care of our members, but we also expect a certain level of commitment."

You nod, taking the papers. "Sure, I'll get these filled out."

"Good," she says, her eyes flickering with a hint of satisfaction. "Once that's done, I'll introduce you to our quest board. You can find everything from beginner tasks to high-level missions there. And remember, the more challenging the quest, the greater the reward."

You begin filling out the forms, aware of her gaze lingering on you. Her demeanor is polished and professional, yet there's an undeniable edge to her words and actions.

As you work, she continues to talk. "We also have various facilities you might find useful—the armory, the training grounds, the alchemist's workshop, and in the town, there are plenty of places to spend your gold on gifts for a woman. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me. I'm here to help... as long as you pull your weight and have the gold."

You finish filling out the forms and hand them back to her. She skims through the paperwork, her eyes occasionally flicking up to meet yours. "Everything looks in order," she says, her smile widening. "Let me show you to the quest board."

You finish filling out the forms and hand them back to her. She skims through the paperwork, her eyes occasionally flicking up to meet yours. "Everything looks in or..." she says before stopping and sighing.

"Necromancer, huh? Great... another broke adventurer," the guild girl mutters under her breath. Her smile is noticeably **** when she looks back at you, leaving you slightly taken aback.

"I... I'm sorry, what was that?" you ask, but she ignores you, continuing as if nothing happened, her demeanor only slightly strained.

She leads you across the guild hall, her hips swaying in a way that draws I'm your eyes like a moth to a flame. You follow her to a large wooden board covered in various notices and flyers.

"Here's our quest board," she explains, gesturing with a delicate hand. "You'll find a variety of tasks ranging from beginner quests to high-risk missions. Each notice lists the details and rewards. Oh, and just so you know, undead sightings are rare in this area, so there isn't typically much work for a white necromancer... are you a white necromancer?" She raises a curious brow.

"I lean more towards being a grey necromancer," you respond, chuckling awkwardly as you scratch the back of your head.

"A grey necromancer, huh?" She repeats, her tone portraying a hint of disappointment. "That's... still unusual around here." She pauses, her gaze lingering on you as if trying to make a decision before her smile returns, though it seems more **** this time. "Anyway, as I said, we have quests for all skill levels. Beginners usually start with simple tasks—gathering herbs, delivering messages, that sort of thing."

When she finishes her explanation, she returns to her desk, where she gathers your papers. "You will be starting as an E rank, the lowest rank all newcomers must start at. Sometimes, individuals skip ranks if someone of importance sponsors them or has a special class for combat. Tell me, do you know any high-ranking guild members, knights, or court mages who could sponsor you?" she asks matter-of-factly.

You simply shake your head no.

"Then you'll need to start at the bottom. With all that out of the way, come back tomorrow, and we will finish your guild card registration, and I'll also explain the ranking system," she says, turning away and heading to the door just behind her.

As the guild girl prepared to open the door, she spoke one last thing to you.

"Oh, and if you hope to have a chance in hell with me, get to at least A rank and have at least twenty thousand gold saved. I know my worth, and I can tell that you are neither wealthy nor possess a prestigious or influential class. I'm not going to bother with any man who won't can't shower me with gifts." She says before entering the back room.
