Hypnotic Adventures at the Mall [Pt. V]

"I ran into Jared's mom while I was shopping, and we lost track of time while catching up. Will it be a problem if she joined us?"

The entrance was slightly awkward. The reason Tiffany had called you so angrily was because you were late. Everyone else was already at least halfway through their meal, with your dad and Rick almost done with theirs.

Moreover, as Sharon had mentioned, she had only ever met your mother and those meetings were always brief. Your dad had never met her and neither had Tiffany, but they had met Jared and so they accepted your explanation. Besides, they couldn't say no when she was right there.

"I haven't seen Jared in a while," dad says instead, fishing for information.

You had been too embarrassed to tell your parents that you were being bullied, so they didn't know that you and Jared weren't friends anymore. It worked in your favor now. "We drifted apart after high school and haven't talked in a while. I was hoping to catch up with him."

"Always good to catch up with old friends," Rick tossed in. Your brother-in-law had been doing his best to be genial to everyone on Tiffany's side of the family. It might have been because he was a genuinely nice guy- he had stayed with Tiffany while most guys would have run- or it might have been because he was hoping to smooth things over after knocking Tiffany up out of wedlock.

It had worked with your mom, who treated him like royalty, and it worked with your dad. You're the last hold out, and that's not because of anything Rick did. It's because you're jealous of what he has.

"Jared should be home now," Sharon brings up like this wasn't her idea. "If you want, you can come over after your shopping trip is done." The first part of the sentence addresses the group at large, but the latter half addresses you.

Open your mouth to accept. Map out what the day might look like: Go with Sharon and have fun with your bully's mom. Head home and inform the family that you and Jared had a grand time catching up and had scheduled a follow-up meeting as an alibi for your next rendezvous with Sharon. Head to bed and have fun with mom once she sneaks in.

Mom opens her mouth and ruins the plan in a second. "Perhaps that's not the best idea. This is the first time in a while John has come with us. I was hoping that we could get our shopping done as a family, especially with Christmas coming up."

A grimace. You had made your mom dependent on you for feelings of comfort. The upside: she would slip into your bed every night, which would make having fun with her easier. The downside: She was going to be clingy, which would make slipping away to have fun with other women more difficult.

Resign yourself to having to put your rendezvous with Sharon off for a day. Open your mouth to concede. Mind remaps your day, reminding you not all was lost. Your older sister had volunteered to model different tops for you while you try to select a Christmas present for her, which promised to be a treat.

Before you can agree to stay with your family, your dad intervenes on your behalf. "John going out to shop with us is rare. Him going out to visit friends is non-existent." Ouch. "If he wants to visit Jared, then he should be allowed to visit Jared. It'll do him good to socialize for once."

And then the matter becomes a spirited debate, as though your life's a democracy where everyone but you has a say. Your mom and sister take one side, your dad the other. Rick, who had previously supported you going with Sharon, isn't willing to go against his wife and opts not to participate.

As to you- you contemplate. Once upon, your parents would decide for you with your sister chipping in. Four commands had changed that. Your mom is now willing to let you make decisions, both for her and for yourself.

Perhaps it's a desire to see these commands in action that spurs your next sentence. "I'd like to go with Mrs. Thompson, mom."

Your dad looks surprised at you pitching in. The first time you had done so in a while. Your mom shares in his surprise, but the surprise doesn't last long. To the surprise of your family, she gives in. "Okay."

"You're giving in?" Tiffany sounds incredulous.

"John's old enough to start making some of his decisions. If he wants to go with Sharon, he can go."

"Is this what the two of you were talking about this morning? Whether John could make his own decisions?"

It wasn't, but the explanation was more palatable than the truth: You were getting a tit-fuck from mom before cumming on her face. You are more than willing to go with dad's explanation. "It was. We didn't get to finish our discussion though." Your choice to claim the discussion was left incomplete is a ploy to cover for one more early morning meeting between the two of you.

Mom picks up on your intent and plays along. "I guess we can talk about this tomorrow morning."

Nod. "I don't have anything planned."

A beat of silence, and then Tiffany capitulates as well, bereft of her ally. "I guess you can get me a Christmas gift later, but you better not forget."

"We'll plan another visit," you promise. "If it's just the two of us and we don't get distracted, we can probably be done in an hour or so."

No other objections rose. When the six of you wrapped up your lunch, your family their separate ways while you departed with Sharon.
