How To Romance a Succubus VI

Chapter 183 by Jerynboe

Xorova was very slowly coming to a realization. Kavros really did, genuinely, want to learn magic from her. If she’d bothered to give herself sweat glands, she was almost certain they’d be running overtime. She really didn’t actually know a lot of magic. Generally speaking, she knew two kinds of spells. Magic that she could use to spice things up in the bedroom, and magic that she’d learned in the legions.

Most military magic was less about fighting and more about doing one extremely specific task moderately faster than a person could do it with basic tools. Every few decades, she’d be thrown into a class and drilled on a new ritual until she could quickly dig latrines or preserve food or whatever. Then she’d be doing that every day when they set up camp until she was shuffled to a new master or mistress and needed to learn a different stupid utility spell.

Kavros wanted ancient sorceress teacher roleplay, though, and by the Maker Below she would do her best. On a positive note, he’d left the portal wide open for himself. Someone who was already advanced enough to summon and bind a proper demon would probably run through her entire repertoire in a few days once he went through the basics of Imperial grammar. He could just declare one of her spells useful whenever he wanted to ravage her, or to be ravaged by her. He’d earned that much; she wouldn’t even mind taking her turn on top after a mostly good first day like this.

“Very well, mortal.” Xorova said, “I shall instruct you in primal runes if that is what you desire. Should you have difficulty, I will need to grow more… strident.”

She was trying to decide which of the two types of teacher she should go with. If he was really trying to learn, she’d historically had an easier time learning from the haughty sorceress types. The shouting drill sergeants tended to turn her on too much to focus.

She wasn’t actually sure what a Calor rune would do on its own. She didn’t think it would be deadly, but she didn’t want to look too frazzled when the spell did… whatever it was going to do. As such, she walked a short distance away into the clearing outside his barn, and slowly inscribed Calor into the dirt with her tail to give him time to examine the process.

“It is a simple enough design.” She said, affecting boredom, “Even a dullard such as you should be able to manage it, I imagine. Now then, do step back.”

She glared imperiously at Kavros until he did so, then held out her hand and spoke the name of the rune. Naturally, she used the Imperial name. His language seemed related to that tongue, so it seemed like it would be the easiest for him to pick up. She fed the rune only a little bit of energy; after all, she still hadn’t eaten anything but scrapings from the pot. She didn’t want to exhaust herself or Kavros right before things got interesting.

Nothing really noticeable happened. She could feel the energy draining from herself and it glowed dimly with magical leakage, so it was obviously doing something.

“Now then, can you tell what the rune is doing?” She said, thanking Basement Guy for all the times he’d had her pretend to be arrogant nobles for clients, “It should be obvious.”

Kavros slowly crept towards the rune, looking almost skittish, and held out his hand.

“It’s… warm.” He said, “Not as warm as a fire, but…”

Well that was as obvious a request as she’d ever heard. She pumped extra energy into the rune, causing its dim light to flare. Even she could feel the heat from a few feet away. She laughed as Kavros took a step back, clutching his hand to his chest.

“Calor.” She said, smug, “Heat. The energy is coming from me, so I determine exactly how much heat.”

Ok, well that actually made a lot of sense. Except that it made things cold in the only spell she knew that used it. Oh well, didn’t matter, she could figure that out later if it proved relevant.

“I see…” he said, squinting at it.

Xorova let the magic fade once he started trying to reproduce the rune himself. She got bored after the fourth or fifth time he drew it slightly wrong, and decided it was time for the switchup.

“No, you idiot!” She snapped. “If you try to feed energy into that, you’re just throwing it into the air! Do you think that your body, frail as it is, can afford to waste energy?”

He glared at her in response to the berating, the anger in his eyes enough to make her heart flutter. He must have liked that. She monitored his next attempt, stopping him whenever he made a mistake and pushing him to go faster whenever he slowed down.

“Do you think you have all day?” She snarled, “Magic is about speed and precision. If you can’t manage speed, and you can’t get it right, what good are you?”

He picked up the pace, and it seemed that the extra pressure was good for him. His hands didn’t shake as much as when he’d tried to do the whole thing slowly. The design wasn’t complex, merely precise. She didn’t lay her hands on him, thinking that would be counterproductive, but she slashed her tail through any failures instantly, replacing them with corrected runes of her own. It took almost an hour for him to manage one that was exactly right, and when he did he looked at her, as if he expected her to wipe it away like the others.

“Well, mortal?” She said, sneering, “I’m waiting.”

He breathed heavily, then fed a pittance of energy into the rune. He smiled when he felt its warmth. Then he did something odd. He carved the rune into a log he’d set aside as firewood, a bit smaller than the rune he’d drawn in the dirt. Xorova kept yelling at him to do better, but she was honestly quite confused for most of the process. It didn’t make sense at all, not until he finally got it correct after only a few dozen attempts.

“Calor.” He whispered, placing the log in his firepit.

The rune slowed a dull red, which slowly brightened into orange as he poured energy into it. Eventually, the log blackened, smoked, and burst into flames. His smile was electric, a grin that she was proud to have helped him achieve. It made sense, she supposed. He had already proven that he was creative with that scene he’d cooked up with the squirrel.

“Very well.” He said, the firelight dancing in his eyes. “That? That is useful.”

“Good.” She said, drawing the word out like a hiss, “Then I shall take my price.”

She lunged for him, knocking him onto his back. He’d been trying so hard all day, and he’d just poured enough of his own body’s energy into the rune to make it catch fire. He deserved a bit of pampering after exerting himself like that. Her wings descended, shifting to be heavier. Useless for flight, but perfect for pinning his wrists.

Xorova placed a hand around Kavros’s neck, extending her fingers and adding an extra joint to each so she could go all the way around. It wasn’t quite as good as the collar he’d given her, but it was the best she could do. She rested her thumb’s razor pointed nail over his windpipe, pressing just enough to draw a tiny bead of blood out.

“I am owed.” She purred, grinding against him, “You would not gainsay our bargain now, would you?”

She felt him harden beneath her, and smiled. She was being a bit blunt, but at least she was turning him on. She saw him meet her eyes, fixing her with a steely glare, and worked extra hard to maintain character half as well as he was. Even now, back pressed against the ground and pinned with her full weight, he was keeping things spicy for her.

Most of the guys she’d done this with before, especially so early in the relationship, started to cry and beg at this point. Dozens of soldiers and even a few consuls had been like that, playing tough until they got what they wanted and then just crumbling. She’d have been happy to play along if Kavros had wanted to give in for a few hours or even a few days. She’d have worried, though. The last thing any succubus wanted was to just be used by some guy to get his thrills.

No; instead, even when she had him completely at her mercy, when he couldn’t use his binding magic without immediate and absolute punishment, he glared daggers at her. If she hadn’t already been a bit wet, she was now.

As Kavros glared at her, she knew that he was going to fight her every step of the way. He was going to do whatever he needed to reassert control so that she could enjoy being in the really fun role on bottom. Xorova was really the luckiest girl in the world, because in those eyes she saw a promise. That he’d fight her just as hard as any succubus. As Xorova tightened her grip and lowered herself onto his stiffening cock, she let herself really believe this relationship might honestly be going places.

She pressed down, feeling him slide in deep. She’d had mistresses before and they could be fine, but this feeling of fullness was enough for her to prefer male summoners all on its own. She rolled her hips, feeling his hardness inside her body as she did. She let out a ragged moan, letting him know exactly how much she was enjoying him. Throughout it all, she maintained eye contact. Right up to the moment where she managed to achieve climax.

Being on top didn’t really do it for her, but the stimulation alone felt really nice. She knew there were some girls that could honestly get themselves off just from knowing they were doing a good job domming someone, but Xorova wasn’t one of those. Even so, her newly formed body was so sensitive and so turned on after the day she’d had that she managed it. Her body quaked and shuddered, clenching around him as she straddled him on the ground. Her grip loosened, and that’s when he struck.

He spat out the stasis spell, quickly and precisely enough that she knew that he must have somehow been preparing to cast it the entire time she’d been atop him, just waiting for his moment. She hadn’t even had the opportunity to give him an opening; he’d found one all on his own.

As the spell completed, a cold heaviness flowed out from her collar. Her entire body from the neck down froze in place. She was stiff, but no heavier. Kavros managed to push her off to the side, onto her back, and crawl on top of her. She met his eyes just like he had, trying her very best to maintain half the cool arrogance she had seen on his face when he’d been pinned. She couldn’t stop a smile from playing across her lips, not without altering the structure of her mouth.

He posed her frozen limbs, pushing them out of the way so he could enter her. This time, she was on bottom, and with the furious glint in his eyes she didn’t need to do anything to feign excitement. He fumbled for just a few moments on his way into her folds, and she was delighted to realize exactly why her nerves had all been left intact.

He buried his shaft deep within her, then leaned down and took her breasts in his hands, pulling away the simple breast binding she’d made for herself. He pinched her nipple, a stark shiny black circle upon the alabaster flesh, and she shuddered. It had been far too long since she felt the touch of another, or even had flesh to touch.

For a moment she let herself revel in the fantasy that this was all he wanted from her. That she could just lay back and luxuriate in such pleasure forever. She moaned her pleasure as he used her as he pleased. She should have been spitting defiance, but she was so surprised, so overwhelmed, that she completely lost track of the scene. She couldn’t form words, let alone maintain character.

He didn't seem to mind. After only a few minutes he stiffened and let loose a few jets of his seed into her. He really must have enjoyed himself. She allowed herself a satisfied smile and a deep breath before gathering herself and locking eyes with him.

“Is that all?” She demanded, regulating her breathing, “You didn’t last long, did you?”

She didn’t have more energy to feed him, or she might have been able to do something about that. Ah well, it was bad practice in any event, to feed him so he could keep ravaging her. A waste of limited resources. She wasn’t a selfish lover, after all. He had uses for her, and she was starting to believe that being subjugated was rather low on his list of priorities.

He really seemed to think that she needed to be showered with affection just to do the job he’d summoned her for. Sweet, but silly. She’d happily help destroy the Major, whatever it took, and have time left over to give Kavros all the love he deserved afterwards. She’d need to figure out how to get around his enforcement mechanisms, of course. He seemed almost afraid to relax and enjoy himself, probably because he had enemies.

So work kicked my ass and one of my best friends is getting married. I’ll get out the next Emrys chapter and end the hiatus just as soon as I post this last chapter on patreon. As for Kavros and Xorova? This is probably the best stopping point for those crazy kids at this time.
