History

When you were born in this world, you barely had any memories about your previous life. Just some blurry pictures and feelings when you saw some things you knew. Over the time your regained some pieces of your memories and some skills, but outside of basic skills like reading, this did not help you in Calitian. This world is different. Medieval and full of magic. Nobody cares that you know how to use a camera or which crises led to the downfall of the roman empire, since both of these things never exists in Calitian. You came to the decision, that you needed more information about this world.

As a farmer’s daughter this was rather difficult. Your father did not care about history or geography as long as it didn’t interfered with his work. And the village elder had only limited knowledge. However, when you settled into the guild, Luna introduced you to the academy’s history professor, who was also her teacher.

Professor Clark, an old man with a long white beard and at least one blind eye, welcomed you into his class. He is great with historical facts, names and situations. However, he is also quiet bad at remembering much else. He calls half of the students by the wrong name and sometimes asks whom his own cup of tea belongs to. He also seems to not notice when some students cause trouble during the lessons.

When you arrive at the classroom, you immediately have to grid your teeth. Ulric and Dergon seem to have joined the class again. Two hollow heads who waste the lesson catcalling girls, including you, and throwing paper balls on the calm and diligent students. You seriously have no idea why they do this, since unlike on earth, studying here is fucking expensive.

You give your best to ignore them while focusing on the lecture. It is about the economic crisis at the southern border, it happened around 300 years ago because the favourite **** girl of the ruler of the desert kingdom, fled together with a nobleman from Priluxandria. Because this insulted the honor of the old ruler, he ordered both their heads.

Priluxandria, recently lost its king and was ruled by the queen and the royal council at this time. The conflict dragged on for almost half a century until the new demon king Rabidus rose in the land of Runebore. His hordes also threatened Priluxandria, and since all parties involved had since died, he complied with the new demands of the desert kingdom to finance his army.

The lesson ends with the sound of the big bell of the nearby cathedral. Professor Clark quickly gives all of you the corrected essays you had to write a week ago before releasing you all to lunch. To your joy, you managed to pass with an over average amount of points. However, your joy vanishes, when Ulric blocks your way outside of the classroom.

“Hey, beauty,” Ulric greets you sleazy, “what did you got? Did you passed?”

“Since when do you care?” you reply.

“I just want to know how long you had to suck this old idiots cock to pass his boring class,” Ulric replies while his face hardens, “he is boring like watching paint dry. But my father wants me to pass this shit.”

“Well, then how about you stop being an idiot and start learning,” you reply and try to move past him.

But you don’t get around him, because he again blocks your path and pushes you to the wall. You are caught by surprise. Otherwise you would have defended yourself either with your fists or even a spell. But Ulric must really be ****. He and Dergon were always annoying, but never violent, except for throwing paper balls.

“You stay here, peasant!” Ulric hisses angry, “like it or not, but you will help me passing this class.”

“I am not a tutor and I would never tutor a walking waste of time like you,” you hiss back, “let me go or I will make you! One spell and you can be glad to leave the hospital by the end of this year.”

“Try it, peasant,” Ulric replies arrogant, “we both know that you will be sent to the dungeon when you attack somebody with magic. My father is a judge, he told me everything.”

You remain silent. Ulric is not entirely wrong. Of course you are allowed to defend yourself with magic, but he has to directly attack you for this. And since he is from noble blood, it is possible that a court would still consider this an act rebellion. And the guild will also not be happy if your cause trouble. It is better to just refuse and ignore him.

“Not so bity anymore?” Ulric asks arrogant, “did you get some sense and understand your place now or just swallowed your tongue? Whatever, I can work with it.”

“I have magic classes now,” you reply calm but trembling with tension, “so, for the last time, please stop harassing me and let me go.”

“I don’t care about your classes, you are not going before you helped me pass this boring shit,” Ulric replies and crosses his arms, “you know, I can’t learn when I am stressed. It’s just not working. Since you already suck the professors cock, I assume you can do the same for me. Help me relieve myself, so I can focus! And before you get feisty again, I don’t have any classes left today. But if you want to get late for your magic stuff, feel free to argue with me as long as you want.”
