His Boss

Alex while he wasn't late for work as his **** sick days were about to end he didn't really feel like staying in his apartment with his girlfriend being so weird as she's done something similar albeit smaller scale in the past just to show Alex that him taking care of the place for "them" wasn't that hard and him complaining about it was him being ungrateful.

Hoping into his friends car... well not friend but she was the person he hired whenever he needed to go somewhere and as he paid her more than enough money for it she stopped trying to be an Uber for anyone else and basically became his personal driver as she continued to work on getting her studies in hopes of finally getting an acting gig worthy of her.

"Where to boss?" Asked Sera as she pulled out her phone and already but in the destination for Gentek as Alex sat in the back and tried not to see to off as if his plan actually worked than he'd have no problems at work anymore and better yet he'd have an unlimited amount of girls to choose from... who were hopefully loyal like his sexy... sexy sister has been with him all these years.

Shaking his head to try and get everything back to normal Alex grabs a bottle of water as he was feeling very thirsty all of a sudden and somehow managed to grab the bottle of water that was sitting next to Sera and drink from it before putting it back without either of them ever realizing what happened while the water changed colors a bit and became a somewhat light yet dark looking pink.

After about twenty minutes of normal yet still awkward silence Alex leaves the car after giving Sera the fifty bucks he owed her as Sera turned off the car and cracked open a window as she started looking through the different character auditions she was trying to sign up for. "A crazy blond in both bed and out? Where the heck do they come up with these things!" Sera then began mumbling about the latest character she had gotten from her agent as Alex walked inside Gentek.

From the looks on some of his so called co-workers faces he could tell that quite a few of them were involved in either the "prank" on him or the attempt at his life with experimental chemicals as he and everyone else are almost always full of the stuff as the air born particles get everywhere no matter how through they tried to be in protecting themselves.

"So you finally arrive once all the hard work has ended! And to think I almost trusted you with something greater." Stated Mrs. Scarlett at one of the poor red headed twins as from the looks of it they just came back to the office after an entire lab had been cleaned up because an experiment either failed or went out of control like normal.

"Bu-But miss you told me and my sister that we had to get this done by tomorrow or you'd take away our internship!" Cried out poor Mary as Mrs. Scarlett didn't care at all and probably forgot she told them that or did so just to mess with the interns and **** them to either quit or persevere until they break and become her puppets like all the others that came before.

"I DON'T CARE! WHEN THE LAB'S ARE A MESS ITS ALL HANDS ON DECK!" Screamed Mrs. Scarlett like the madman she was as everyone in the office tried to make their ways back to their work stations or just plane old hide away from her as she was going mental on this poor kid who was probably so stocked to be apart of the company before they meet.

Heck if memory serves Alex right Mrs. Scarlett's attitude towards them is far worse than the other interns, in fact it seemed like she was targeting them for the most random of things. "Alright how about we break it up for now." Stated Alex as Mrs. Scarlett looked at him with fire and rage before composing herself to look like the proud and amazing business woman she tried to be while Mary looked at him like a hero.

"I'm sure neither Mary nor her sister will ever try to do anything like this again right?" Alex asked Mary in a not so subtle way of trying to get her to play along. "R-Right! Next time some chemical octopuses creature appears well wait for your orders even at the cost of these documents you wanted us to get rid of." Mary held up some very important looking documents that she legally probably shouldn't have been destroying. But what was the point when even Alex even after years of trying to stay out of the companies shady tactics still knew about and how messed up this company really was.

Mrs. Scarlett sighs as she points to Alex and her office door. "You don't have to go that far but do remember the plane next time in case something like this happens again." She said knowing full well that the map and regulations she just gave was severally outdated and that in about at max a single weeks time something like this was defiantly going to happen again.

Mary bowed as thanks to Alex as she left with her twin sister slowly approaching from behind a corner as she did the same as they both trotted off to wherever they were supposed to be probably continuing to illegally destroy certain papers that the government needed to check as Alex himself sighed before entering the beasts lair but not before making sure his hard on dissipated before he did so.

"Man it should be illegal to be that fine in places like this." Alex stated under his breath as he walked through the door and entered an all grey office where the only thing on the walls was a single clock that was louder than it ever needed to be, all her scientific achievements and diplomas and a single hanged picture of her and goth looking girl.

"SIT!" Was all Mrs. Scarlett said as Alex obeyed and sat down on the only seat in the room as his boss continued typing loudly on her keyboard for two entire hours with Alex only being allowed to leave every so often to get another cup of water from her own stash of water so no one leaves and walks all the way down the hall and into the break room as she'd loose her intimidating edge otherwise.

Thankfully after another thirty minutes of waiting Mrs. Scarlett stopped typing and looked at Alex "So what happened? Why were you absent for an entire week. Our best employee who was the only person who didn't need to be **** to still work during the holidays and worked through his sick days even when he wasn't supposed to." Alex gulped down his little shot of water one more time before speaking "Well after working like that for a long enough time I eventually came down with something and had to stay at home."

Mrs. Scarlett scoffed at his answer but was **** to accept it anyway as many of his colleges had similar problems with quite a few of them even dying in the process before Gentek was legally **** to allow sick leave along with regular leave to their operations or else the FBI would get a reason to be involved and get the ability to finally search the place for wrong doings.

Eventually Alex's time to shine had come as Mrs. Scarlett picked up her empty mug and began shaking it around in her hand telling him that she wanted a refill and if she had to say it out loud then their were going to be some problems even more so if you get her drink wrong in any way which wasn't hard to figure out from listening in and working with her for a couple years.

Leaving the office Alex walks towards the break room and grabs the nearest pot of coffee and begins to pretend to pout it before he makes her some hot chocolate as even if she were more sour than an atomic war head her sweet tooth was legendary to those who actually knew and believed she had it. This time however Alex was giving her a special ingredient that he brought from home which was a tiny bit of his girlfriends "special shake" that still remained in the cup.

Pouring both liquids in and mixing them around long enough to the point that the white had completely disappeared and became that perfect color Mrs. Scarlett liked without actually having to put the super sweet cream inside it. Rushing towards her office Alex just barley managed to give it to her in time before she walked out the door which might have doomed him and his career at this company.

"Here you go mam piping hot from the pot!" Alex said nervously as Mrs. Scarlett dragged him inside by telling him to get closer as Alex shut his door and began hoping that what he thought happened did and that if what he saw actually happened and worked on Mrs. Scarlett of all people than there'd be no one else to stop him from well anything if he played his cards right.

Mrs. Scarlett sits back down at her chair and makes her desk neat enough for both of them to see each other clearly as she starts drinking her hot chocolate "Now Alex while your a great employee I don't think-" As she begins gulping down her drink her eyes start going blank while her body starts showing similar looking pink energy pulses as Lucy.
