Hiking Trip

Gwen and Lucy were lagging behind Gabby and Alex. This was because they were on the side of a cliff that they were hiking up.

"I gotta say Gabby, I'm surprised. I didn't think this would be something you and Mike would do together," said Alex. Gabby rolled her eyes before responding.

"We don't. Mike doesn't like going on hikes. Not everything I do is centered around him. I'm more than just his girlfriend," she snapped.

"Easy there girl. I'm not saying that," said Alex. Gabby groaned before walking ahead of Alex.

"Why do you hate me?" questioned Alex. Gabby stopped in her tracks and whipped around while Lucy and Gwen face palmed.

"Why? WHY! Maybe because you beat up my boyfriend on the daily," snapped Gabby, marching right up to the taller woman.

"I'm not that person anymore. My transformation has completely changed who I am. I'd never even consider doing that to someone anymore unless they were an actual threat," said Alex. Gabby stood on her toes to get into Alex's face.

"That doesn't change the fact that you did that. What, because you've changed that means that all the bad things you've done suddenly goes away?" snapped Gabby. Alex was about to snap back, but didn't. Instead, she diverted her gaze.

"You're right, it doesn't. But I don't understand why you're getting so mad about it. You seem more mad than Mike is," said Alex. Gabby took a deep breath and backed off a little bit.

"Two reasons. One, I have problems controlling my anger. Two, I love him. And when you love someone as much as I love him, you get angry when someone hurts them," said Gabby.

"Alex, think of it like this. What if someone hurt your sister? You'd be pretty pissed too," said Lucy.

"You're right, I would. But Gabby, you really need to take a step back. We all know you love Mike, but it seems like you've hardly been your own person here," said Alex, making Gabby sigh.

"You have a point," said Gabby.

"Come on girls, let's not get too down in the dumps," said Gwen. Suddenly, the ground below her gave way and she fell.

"GWEN!" exclaimed the others. They ran over and saw that she had landed in a cave.

"I'm ok!"
