Jessica hide behind a barrel. Peaking out just enough to see a dark gangly figure emerge from the staircase, a brutal saw in one hand, a torch in the other. A smart beast indeed. Red fur, and dark skin, with hair that came off in tufts. Jessica shuddered to think what a beastly creature like that would be capable of. Her heart pounded when she remembered the beast may see her yet. But as she rested her hurt body, the beast appeared to look around briefly, never fully leaving the building, before descending the staircase again.
