Hide and Seek

Obviously you’re not getting into that bikini if you can avoid it. Plus by the time you’re done with the game it’ll be time to order pizza and will be too late for the pool.

“Let’s play hide and seek.”

“Yes! You’re it first” Tommy declares.

“Ok but everyone has to stay down stairs.” You say. Tommy makes a face but Julia nods.

You close your eyes and start counting. You hear them both scurry away. As you near the end of your count you realize how quiet it is.

You start looking and you’re super glad you put the restriction to stay downstairs. The house is big enough on just this floor. You find Julia in the laundry room after a fair bit of searching. She’s good natured about getting caught, if slightly disappointed.

“Is Tommy in here too?”

“No he hid somewhere else. I’m going to go watch tv till you find him.”

She leaves and so do you, though not before noticing several pairs of men’s boxer briefs that involuntarily make your stomach do a little flip.

You keep searching the first floor but no sign of Tommy. You are pretty sure you searched thoroughly. Could he have gone upstairs?
