What was Hiccup doing?

Hiccup burying "himself" in "his" bed, sulking.

Astrid let herself into Hiccup's room.

The window was closed. His desk sprawled with sketches and plans. On the plank of wood covered in animals furs that Hiccup called a bed was... well... Hiccup. He was curled in fetal position on top, looking away from the door. Astrid could tell by the subtle curves his body made that, like her, the strange metamorphizing affects of the star from last night was still in full effect.
