Hermione's new look

The next morning Harry and Ron sat in the classroom with their fellow students, beside one spot empty next to them. "Where Hermione?" Ron asked, still sleep-drunken as usual.

"She was still asleep when Lavender and I left," Parvati said from the row behind.

This made Harry worry a bit. Hermione had changed a lot last night and he already could imagine himself standing in front of Professor Dumbledore for it. But just as he was imagining it, someone slide into the empty spot next to Ron and him.

"Wow," Ron said. "Hermione, what you did with your hair?"

Harry looked up and spotted Hermione, who just had placed her books down. Her hair, curly before last night, was still smooth and long, but at least not completely bimbo blonde anymore. Although there was a blonde strand in her hair. Her chest also had slimmed down again, although it was still clearly bigger than before she ate her cookies.

"How was your night?" Harry asked carefully, wondering what Hermione remembered.

"I don't know," she said. "I can't remember much since I got back to Gryffindor tower. Then I woke up in the morning and felt weird."

Before Harry could ask more, their professor had walked in and the class started. It seemed that the effect of the cookies had mostly worn off, although Hermione bit her lips when she accidentally brushed her wand over her chest.

The rest of the lesson passed by without any further events and so did the morning. As they arrived at the Great Hall for lunch, Harry overheard some talk by some Ravenclaw girls: "Yeah, they in the hospital ward ... yeah, they were caught making out! ... no, seems whatever happened can be reversed ... maybe someone played a joke on them ... can't remember anything"

As he walked over to the others, he thought about it. The girls clearly had talked about the two Ravenclaw bimbos he had seen last night before finding the raygun. He realized he had to find out more about it.
