Ahsoka sighed, realizing that during the winters she would have to wear thick furs to survive. That meant skinning and tanning, meaning she’d have to do it outside the cave near a river. Jedi survival classes back on Coruscant had luckily given her a basic rundown of the process and she had no doubt the Force could guide her hand through the process. As she stepped out into the cool, night air, she took stock of what she’d need.

First there was the matter of gathering plants that produced tannins, not too difficult considering the various plants painting the planet second would be making a hut downstream of the cave for the production of clothing, may as well make it a full blown workshop at that. Next would be the creation of leather working tools, something that she could make fairly easily out of wood and debris. Finally would be the creation of a tanning rack and vats to soak skins in.

Truth be told, the young Togruta had been enjoying her time spent as nature intended, bare to the elements, but it was a matter of a single summer until winter rolled around to threaten her.
