Her friend, Hannah

Lucy knew she had to tell her best friend. Hannah and Lucy had been close ever since they'd met when they were little. She could trust Hannah with her life and equally as importantly, this new power.

Lucy once again pressed the large central button and was greeted by stillness and calm. She passed through the unlocked gate and found Hannah's mum, Helen in the garden, hanging up washing on the line. She too was perfectly still, bending to pick up a pair of what she assumed was either her or Hannah's tiny black thong.

Lucy made her way into the house and found Hannah upstairs, in her bedroom.
