Her boyfriend, Adam

Of all the people in the world, Lucy knew she could trust her boyfriend, Adam. They had been lifelong friends and Lucy often thought of them as soulmates. Lucy knocked on the door and Adam answered. "I need to show you something" Lucy said in a whisper. "Don't worry, it's just us", Adam said. The couple headed up to Adam's bedroom.

It took a lot of explaining from Lucy and confusion from Adam, but Lucy recalled the events of the night before. Adam sat in stunned silence, taking it all in. She presented the device to him, explaining everything that she knew. The central button was for pausing time, the two buttons on either side were for skipping forward or back through time.

Adam had only one question. How were they going to spend that time?
