I was rejected by Erica because she said she wasn’t ready to be with a female. So I came home to find that my dad, who had been single for the last ten years. Surprisingly married a fifty- two year old female without even introducing me to her. Apparently they were due back from an impromptu honeymoon in California. So at least I could curl up with dad and he could talk me through what has been going on in my sex lifeI Of the lack of a sex life!

I was in the rec room when I started to hear noise in the house. Footsteps were coming closer and I really hoped it was dad coming to watch the sports report. Then the door opened and in came an older blonde dressed in a white satin robe that wasn’t closed over her breasts in a blue bra! Damn of course she was gorgeous. Not at all what dad dated since mom died.

Our eyes met and she stopped in front of me. She didn’t introduce herself, didn’t ask what my name was either. No! The first thing she said to me was a question that brought everything to my mind. “What is wrong? Tell me all about it!”

Then as if a dam broke, the words came flooding out! It felt like forever but in reality it was only twenty minutes to tell her everything. That was when she spoke directly to me and shocked me when she said my name. “Oh Cathy, what you’re feeling is natural for a girl your age in university!”

I interrupted her, “Hey! How do you know my name?”

She just looked at me as if that should have been obvious! “Your dad and I actually talked to each other when not connected at the lips or crotch!”

Oh god I understood what she was telling me and the images that came to my mind wasn’t something that I should have been thinking about.

She sat down beside me and put her left arm around my shoulders. “Oh I’m Helen Murphy, nee Davis!” Then she went on. “Every girl experiments with a sense of her sexuality at some time. So you did nothing wrong!”

“Really then why do I feel so awkward?”
